Hi! We (myself, DH, DS and his wife) just got back from 3 nights, on DDP!

This was our first time on DDP, and we were thrilled with it!! For breakfast, we used one snack credit to buy a bag of 6 Thomas bagels from the gift shop at our resort (Saratoga Springs). We used one snack credit the first day to buy a jar of peanut butter - and that was our breakfast each morning (bagels & PB) with a pot of coffee in the room!

We used our CS credits for lunch each day. The first day we ate at the Sunshine Seasons food court. We each got an entree, non-alcoholic drink, and dessert. Everything was very good! The second day we had Tusker House at AK. Again - entree, drink, and dessert - very good! Today we ate at Wolfgang Puck Express - and as always, very good! :teeth:

Our TS credits were used at Raglan Road, Chefs de France, and Boma! I posted reviews of Raglan Road (good) and Chefs de France (bad) over on the restaurant review board. Boma, as usual, was fantastic! With the DDP at Boma, we could get smoothies, coffee press-pots, jambo juice, or any other non-alcoholic drink!

The rest of our snack credits were used on bottles of water, candied pecans, doritos and salsa from the gift shop, candy, espresso/cappucino, and a couple of other things I can't remember anymore! lol

Any questions? :sunny:

Only one-you just got back and you've already posted your reviews? Two big thumbs up for you :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 .

Sounds like you use the DDP like we do. We always eat breakfast in our room and with the changes to the SC it'll make it even easier. Thanks for the info!

Were the items posted as snacks in the gift shop or did you have to ask the CM which items qualified as snacks? This sounds like a wonderful idea, especially for breakfast.

We will be using the DP in October so we really appreciate all the information you keep giving us. Glad you enjoyed yourselves.

DJ Mommy - We just got back tonight too and we realized before we left we had 10 snack credits we hadn't used. We used 4 of them in the gift shop at the POFQ - basically anything $4.00 and under is considered a snack item under the DDP. From the gift shop we used the credits on Mickey Cheddar Cheese crackers, Mickey Graham crackers, Tostitos, etc. The remaining credits we used at Downtown Disney in Goofy's Candy Co. where the $4.00 and under rule also applied.

Glad you had fun!! So happy to hear about the pres~pots at Bomas on the DDP:)

At some gift shops, it was posted. At others we had to ask, but they always said that any food/drink under 4.00 qualified as a snack.

Thank you Colleen and Rhonda. So happy about having this option to use for snacks. We will probably be taking some home with us too.

LOL! It was very yummy! The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the "Pint of Prawns" as an appetizer - very small and not that great.
