WOW WOW WOW!!! What a great resort. We had so much fun that we were suppose to come home yesterday but I called the front desk and we decided to stay one more night!!! I can't tell you the fun we had there. LOVED the Cabana rental!! It was very nice. I will post later all that I can about the resort and such..BUT what was REALLY COOL was that Ellen was there. She stayed in the suite across the hall from us!!! We were in room 3735 in Tower 3 on the 7th floor. She was in the Capt's Suite. On Friday night I ran down to the laundry room and the guys from Tim McGraw's band (I didn't know it at the time) got on the elevator with me!! I figured out who they were later. We did see her filming her show, but never saw her. She books her room under Jane OConnor...why I don't know??? :confused3 I will post details later about the resort and things that we will do differently next year. If anyone has questions I will be happy to answer!

Very cool! :thumbsup2

We're planning a trip in August (myself, dh & 7yo dd). What type of room to you recommend? Is is worth spending more for the water view or club level? We want to be fairly close to the pool. Can you get one with a view of the parks?

Do they have soda &/or other vending machines? Coke or Pepsi, and how much per can/bottle?

Thanks,

We stayed in the Club Level. I would most definately do it again. It was really nice to wake up and have breakfast and coffee right there. They also had water and soda out all day. The only vending machines I saw had candy in them. The large M&M's machines were about it. We had a view of I4 but they do have pool view rooms. I didn't care at all about the view. We really spent very little time in our room. You are going to love RPR!!

We are going in May, can you tell me more about the cabana's? Do we need to rent them before we go?

Also, I thought the club rooms were only in Tower 1?

The Cabana's are FABULOUS!!! I highly suggest reserving one when you go. We didn't have a problem renting one when we got there. You just go down to the gym and ask to reserve a cabana. If you are Club Level the cost is $40. If you aren't Club Level it is $75. They give you a nice fruit basket with bananas, apples, oranges, and grapes. The frig had 2 Sprites, 2 Diet Cokes, and 2 Cokes, and 2 bottles of Fiji Water. They also have televisions, and they also reserve 4 chairs outside of the cabana. It was very nice. I don't think any Club Level Rooms are in Tower 1. They might be...we never went to Tower One. We were in Tower 3 on the 7th floor. To access that floor you always had to have your room key. When you get on the elevator you put your card in and then press the 7th floor button.

What a beautiful picture of you and your family!

I'm going tomorrow with my hubby and 16 month old daughter - did you go to any great restaurants that you would suggest?

Thanks!

Sheri

Thanks! My husband took that of us at Margaritaville! To be honest...we went to Hard Rock Cafe. It was really good. If you go to their website you can get what is called a PX. You can set your time to get a table and not have to wait. DO NOT tell the girl outside the resturant that you have a PX. Tell them hostess inside behind the counter. Both times she sat us immediately.
