Every year the night before the 11 of September. I head over to New York City with my mother and we pay our respects to those that lost their lives. This year it has been very difficult for me. I don't know why.

We usually head over there around 8 or 9pm, however we didn't get there till about 10 to midnight. As we were walking, we hear this sound of motorcycles.

I cannot even tell you how many drove around at midnight, I would say there was over 500, I was so moved, I am sitting here still overwhelmed. It was beautiful, they had their beautiful American Flags on the back of some of the bikes and I have never seen this, people were waving, they honked their horns. I stood there motionless and softly crying to myself. I fear that many forget what happened that day or they just don't care anymore and that makes me very sad.

It changed our entire world forever, 9 years ago tonight, everything was fine, and then it was forever changed. I know for some its difficult to watch the documentaries, it was for me this year.

When we were walking back to our car, a few had parked their bikes. I was still crying and one gentleman biker came over to me and put his hand on my shoulder as if to say " I know how you feel " A total stranger, who knew what I was feeling. I just pray that people don't forget and remember how we pulled together as a country those following months. I hope we can become that again.

Never Forget 9/11/01 - Lenny, Scott - You are missed more and more every year.

Every detail of that day is as clear as it was 9 years ago.

I did not know anyone who died that day, but my heart aches for each and every person who lost his or her life.

Godspeed.

I don't think many people will ever forget. I'm from England and I have friends from the UK and all over Europe - France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, etc...and nearly all of them have 'Never forget' on their Facebook status' today. People all over the world were affected by what happened and they'll never forget.

We had a moment of remembrance here last night. I NEVER again want to feel like I did after the attacks. I hope every single person in this country does everything they can do to promote peace, goodwill and love around this huge planet of ours.

We have not forgotten!!!!!!

I live nowhere near NYC or the northeast.
I was not affected as 'personally' as many were.
But it is still very raw...
Very vivid.

My brother is a fireman here, and he is one who, as a fireman, personally has a very raw, passionate, personal take on what happened.

I heard that there is a ceremony this morning at a small memorial in my hometown, where he lives and works... while I haven't spoken to him, I KNOW that he was there, and, like for most of us, it was very emotional.

God Bless.

Thank you Wishing on a Star.

Please thank your brother for me as well. Firemen, Police and all volunteers as well work very hard all over this great country and I know its a difficult day.

I know its tough for people to relive and not that I want that, but just to remember. I hope you have a nice day with your family as I will do today as well.

God Bless

I don't think people have forgotten. I do think people have to live and we have to live the way we should. We have to laugh and love and overcome. If we don't then the bad guys win.

I think by going on with our lives then we honor those that can't. My husband is out on Honor Run with other military. He runs with the names of our friends gone on his back. So I can assure you that people haven't forgotten but we do live to honor.

Enjoy this beautiful day.
