Just got entertainment rate at HRH for Jan. 19-26 @125.00

Hello All- We had ressies at HRH for 1/23/03-1/26/03 @ w/ Fan Club rate of 160.00, just called 1-800-BE-A-STAR and a great CM, Mary, told us that sometimes a longer stay helps you get the entertainment rate. She tried all our days in Orlando ( we were going to split our stay with POFQ ) she found the Entertainment rate for us if we added days to our ressie. We took some days from the POFQ and now have 7 days @ HRH. The Entertainment rate is definately out for the HRH, if your not getting it, try playing with your dates.

Do you have to stay a certain amounts of nights for the entertainment rate? We were only planning to stay 3 nights. will i be able to get ent. rate? how about fan club? thanks...amy

Hello corvair- I don't think you need to stay a certain amount of nights, but if you allow them some flexability in your dates, it could help. We wanted 1/17/03-1/26/03 at HRH, nothing avail. we took 1/23-1/26 @ RPH for 159.00. We then got the fan club rate of 139.00 at RPH or the fan club rate at HRH for 160.00 ( why was the HRH now available to us? )we took the HRH @160.00. We just called the 1-800-BE-A-STAR # and were told nothing was available at the HRH with an entertainment rate for our dates, BUT, if we were flexible she would try other dates. We are staying at the POFQ from the 17th, so we said try some dates, she finds the 19th-21st is good, we ask if we can extend to the 26th with the entertainment rate and she says no problem. The best rate I've found is the entertainment rate. It is about 35.00 a night better then the fan club rate.

I was trying to book 2 rms for my brood, 1/29- 2/2, (4 nts) and was offered the fan club rate at HRH club level. For my parents I was trying to book 1/31- 2/2 ,(2 nts) and was told no fan club rate. I could only get the better rate if I was staying a min of 4 nights......I tried booking for 2 and 3 nites but no disc.
I also booked with "Mary", very helpful, but she said there are certian "black out times" for disc. rates and/or min night stays.
