Can't wait it's gonna be great fun! Need to get planning now - can someone give me tips/suggestions on character dining either in the parks/Disney Village or hotels please?

Great news
Character breakfast is at either at cafe Mickey and now Plazza Gardens (used to be Walts which we enjoyed).
Lucky Nugget comes highly recommended. If you fincy finer dining for a bit more then Inventions Restaurant in the Disneyland Hotel do a buffet.

It's not character dining but we loved Annette's Diner in Disney Villgae. My other two favourites were the Blue Lagoon and Auberge de Cendrillon

We went for Afternoon tea at Plaza Gardens either 3pm or 4.30pm , lots of Character interaction for 13€ ish and your just handy for the 4pm parade at the corner of discovery arcade.

Definitely Inventions at DLH, posh food AND characters!!!

I'd also recommend the Sunday brunch with characters at the Steakhouse, Disney Village 12pm-3pm, don't know if you are there on a Sunday.

We also loved Blue Lagoon and Auberge de Cendrillon. Trouble with DLP is there are too many good places to eat and not enough days to try them all out!

We liked the Plaza Gardens for the evening meal - no characters but a good choice of food - something to please everyone and not too expensive.
Hallowenn looks like great fun at DLP.
