I just got off the phone with WDW reservations - what a disaster. I called and explained I had a reservation (booked online myself) for AKL on 7/15 with DME. I told him when I booked the reservation online, Disney's website had a problem so I had called reservations directly and the confirmed the reservation did not go through. So I booked it again and got ONE confirmation via email. (I booked room only - no package so I didn't have to pay in full 45 days in advance - so no charges have appeared on my credit card yet). So I explained this to him and told him I was worried that since I got 2 DME packages in the mail maybe I actually had 2 reservations. He confirmed the one reservation I knew I had, but said he couldnt telll if I had another reservation unless I had another reservation number. I told him I didn't have another reservation number, (remember, one email - call to Disney reservations, confirmed original attempt never went through) but why did I get 2 DME packages if there wasn't another reservation? He said he needed the other reservation number to look it up. I told him I didn't have another reservation - thought I only had one reservation. Need reservation number. Don't have one. Need reservation number. Still don't have one. See my problem... chicken and egg! He was not very helpful - or nice - and I got a little angry. Before I could ask for a supervisor, he put me on hold and after 10 minutes came back and told me yes, I DID have 2 reservations! In fact, he said the computer showed 6 reservations and 4 cancellations. Not sure what that is all about! In any event, he managed to cancel the extra reservation and hopefully we will have a room for us when we arrive on 7/15. UGH! I did get his name, wrote down the confirmed reservation # and the cancelled one. I plan to call Disney again on Monday just to be sure it is all straightened out!
