Just got called regarding Holiday 2006 suites

I have booked us on the 12/17-24/05 cruise and noone else knows. LOL! DH's bday is also 12/25 so this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for him to spend his birthday at WDW. :earsboy: I look at it this way. Christmas is a time to spend with your family, where ever that may be. This will be a unique experience for us and I am really looking forward to it. Of course, I already have the rule that we spend Christmas day just the 4 of us at home. Noone can come stay with us until the day after. This helps because we aren't breaking any family traditions. :)

This thread is getting WAY off topic talking about suites and Christmas cruises.

Can we please get back to chick justification math?

Thanks,
Sam

Of course:

I buy a pair of Manolo Blahnik pumps for $525. I wear them once a week for 30 weeks, so they only cost me $17.50 per wear. Much cheaper than a $19 pair of shoes at Payless that are so uncomfortable that I only wear them once.

I have lots more. You should have seen me justify my new digital camera, even though my old one was acceptable. :p

Please, let's hear it! I'm trying to justify buying a new one too...:teeth:

Well.... for me I've spent well over $5k for a digital SLR, lenses, and a tripod. That's not counting filters, backpack, flash memory cards, Photoshop. It's a sick hobby. :(

And there's still a couple wide angle lenses I want.

I subsidize my hobbies by writing tech articles. Fortunately, I've got a few on my plate later this year. :-)

Oooh, beautiful photo!

For me, the justification was easy -- my old digital (3 MP) wasn't good enough or small enough for me to dump my film-based camera. So i added up the costs of film, the cost of developing, and the monetary value of my time (waiting at 1 hour photos, not being able to see the photos immediately, missing good photo ops because I thought I took a good picture on a film-based camera but hadn't), and my calculations showed that i'd make money with a new camera. :D

I'm still in shock over the $16,000 price tag for the cruise!!!!! That's $16,000!! :faint:

This thread is a hoot!:Pinkbounc
Love the "cjm". How about dividing the cost of Dec. 06 cruise by the number of days you have to pay it off? That should make it affordable.:smooth:
I have to admit, what made me LOL was TammiMcMan when she posted,
" Jeesh, I think I liked them better when they were little and didn't have an opinion "
My DD's 10 going on 16, I can SO relate!
