just got back the other day from DW and we spent a week there had a wonderful time met some wonderful people....
We stayed at the AKL and were on the 3rd floor Savanah view... it was beautiful... our Runners name was Joe he gets for being so super.
the staff was great and so was the weather
our only problem was the transportation Dept. which did a few things we weren't happy with but over all we are planning on going back every other year

well lets answer everyones questions ... a runner is someone from housekeeping that takes care of all of your needs... IE if you need an extra pillow,blanket or if you need an airpurifier or other things of housekeeping needs that the ordinary housekeeper doesn't handle you call housekeeping and ask for it... Joe(our runner) was nice enough to introduce himself when we came in...and took care of things even when we didn't ask..(great mind reader)
Our transportation problems happend over my wheelchair... first time the driver ended up injuring my sisters leg(it was going from one park to the next)secound time i was wheeling my wheelchair up to the stop going from one park to the next and one of the drivers going off shift asked if i needed that bus i said yes... he told the driver and the driver told him to tell me he had a FULL bus.... noone was standing... he closed the doors and then proceeded to sit there... then along came 6 ablebodied passengers he opend the door for them then closed them... then along came 3 more and he opend them then closed them and sat there... the next bus came along and he still sat there... finally he left and i was loaded on the next bus...from MY understanding from reading the signs on the bus that people have to give up seats for wheelchairs....had he taken off when he said he was full i wouldn't have been upset but he procceded to let a total of 9 people on then held up the other bus so i couldn't get on...It is not Disney it's selfs fault as they can't control their drivers but those of you who are abled boddied put yourself in my chair... i will get off of my soapbox.
other than that the trip went GREAT
