We had a GREAT time!!! It was a lot hotter than we expected. We were there during Hurricane Jeanne. The parks were open the day before and the day after. It was just one day of staying in the hotel but was fun. I read a whole book. Disney was such a wonderful place. Please feel to ask me any questions.

Did you stay on property? How crowded was it? Welcome back!

We stayed off property - Vistana Resort- was great but missed being on property. The crowds were just right. - not empty but not too bad. Most rides were 5 min. The longest was Dumbo and that was 30 min. I literally walked onto the safari, Splash mtn and Space mtn. My DH & I were happy because we could take turns on the rides quickly and the kids didn't mind waiting at all. Any rides that were down the day after the Hurricane seemed to be back by Tues. or Wed.

I was surprised at how HOT it was - 90 every day.

Did you have a favorite meal at the parks?

Our favorite meal was a tie .Chef Mickey's for breakfast was great. The characters came right to the table signed our book and took pictures - no waiting in lines. Also, it's a buffet and I NEVER saw my DS8 eat so much.

2nd was the sci-fi cafe at MGM. We sat in cars like at a drive-in. Being from Philly I ordered a Steak sandwhich but this was not a Philly steak it was a steak on a roll but was delicious!!! I tend not to order steaks but that was fab.

Rainforest Cafe was good - go to the one at AK not DD - less lines at AK

Did you have to have priority seating for these rest. since it was not crowded?

The only PS we had was for Chef Mickey's. Sci-fi you can make a reservation at MGM when you arrive - do it near the big chalk-board as you go in. Rainforest doesn't take reservations

Hi Jennifer S, Glad you had a good trip, I bet Riley was glad to have you back home. We are leaving Friday 10/8, driving down & checking in on the 9th. I'm so excited!!!

KristiKelly - Have a wonderful time!! Riley was glad to see us. MIL and FIL stayed here and watched her, spoiled her rotten so I knew she was in good hands while we were gone. I did miss her tons. We all fought on who was going in the house first when we got home.

October should be great for you - remember it was REALLY hot down there. I def. overpacked. Have fun!
