We went from June 26th through july 7. We had a great time. We had a 5 day pass and found we didn't need to get there at the opening . Three of the day we arrived around 11 and stayed till close and the other two days we arrived at 6 pm. We were able to ride everything . We were a party of 13. We had a great time! We found the evening wait times really good. We didn't wait for anything more than 30 mins

We have annual passes and on our last trip [3 park days over Memorial Day weekend] we did the same. We slept in and enjoyed the pool at the resort and had nice lunches at City Walk and went into the park most days around 5 or 6 pm. It was awesome and we had a great time. We mostly just focused on Harry Potter stuff. For most people who just have 2 or 3 days i do suggest going as soon as the park opens but when you are there for several days that really may not be necessary
