Well my wife and I just got back from 3 days at Universal and 7 at Disney. We had a great time at Universal sans a few minor incidents. Nothing that a good shaking of an employee or two could not fix. :) IOA is still great. My wife's sister and husband got stuck on the Hulk when it went down on Sunday(10th) if you were there I'm sure you heard her screaming. They train was stuck on the last break before entering the station. They have several managers and people working on it but they had to evacuate two trains not really a big deal but it was to her. We ended up with a few FOTL passes because of it. All though it scared her from getting on Hulk or Dragons again she was just too scared. BTW this was my wife sister's, husband and three kids first time at IOA and they loved it. Not much for the the youngest child to do but at that age anything makes them happy.

Saw the new Poseidon's Fury show and the first one was much better. They need to improve the sound in the new preshow area where your outside the first chamber. We could not hear Taylor at all.

Sinbad was great saw it twice. Wow there were some really annoying employees working here. I think that one girl just like hearing her own voice. Nothing she said made any sense so we just stopped listening to what she was saying. She/ they were late opening the Express pass entrance. So she just announces that they had given out too many express passes ant they she was going to close the line. Inside the theater she should be heard screaming for people to move over and get closer and closer. Which I can see why if the park was packed but it just made the place look empty there were plenty of seats left. At the end of the show you can get pictures with the cast but again here comes big mouth. We were the last people in line to get a picture. Nobody was in the stands but the line to get pictures had curved toward the stands. Well she starts screaming that everybody must move away from the stands so that people can exit. (again nobody was left in the stands)

Looks like they've added some more lighting to the ending of Jurassic Park River Adventure. I don't recall being able to see T-Rex that far in advance before. Plus I never noticed the broken water pipes before. Maybe that stuff was not working the last time we were there. The doors were finally working as was the cage with the raptor that "falls" toward the boat.

I'm not sure who's idea it is to wash down the Port of Entry every morning but its a bad one. All three children we were with fell on the wet concrete. All within eyesight of employees who could have given a flying **** about it. OH well I guess they will when someone slaps a big *** lawsuit on them one day.

Saw the Graveyard Review, Makeup Show and Wild West Stunt show for the first time and they were all great. Can't wait for the new attractions at the studios!

All and All it was a great time even with the minor problems. My wife and I both have power passes and we plan on going back in March.

Any questions just ask...

EUROPA, thanks for the report, but I must say the stuck Hulk incident is making me think twice about getting on that ride!

I would not worry about the Hulk thing...it really was a minor incident. The point where they got stuck was the thrid break right before entering the station again. Her husband, my wife and I all rode the Hulk later that day a few times with no problems.

Glad you had a great trip Europa. I hope you had a chance to see Hitch one last time before it closes. I made sure to see it while I was there a couple of weeks ago.

On JPRA, aside from the lighting, did you notice anything else different? I found it to be a little wetter than I remember. Just curious.

I just got back from Busch Gardens and the same thing happened. I was stuck on the lift of Kumba about 10 feet from the top. We stayed there for 15 minutes before they got it going and an employee had to walk up to tell us what was going on.

When we got back we got stuck again on the break before the station. They had to open the restraints and let us out. We all got 1 FOTL pass for our troubles. I used it on Montu and ended up getting a front row seat.

Some of us look at getting stuck on a coaster as a fun experience as long as it isn't in an uncomfortable position.

No we missed seeing Hitchcok we really wanted to take in the Stunt Show, Bettle Juice and Ghostbusters that coupled with the reduced hours and other must do's we missed it.

We sat in the second row of Jurassic Park and got soaked. That was the wettest that I've every gotten on that ride. I wonder if they can control how wet you get?? Or if it was due to more weight being in the front of the boat sort of thing?
