What an amazing trip!!! We had the best time. I will give a shorter trip report.
We arrived on April 1 around 12:30. Set up camp and explored FW. It has been a few years since we had been.
Wednesday we went to AK. Nothing really exciting happened. It was packed. Wall to wall people. I am a traditionalist when it comes to waiting in line for a ride. I don't like the fastpass. I would rather wait if it isn't too long or just skip the ride all together. Spent the evening at FW. Just enjoyed the campground.
Thursday we got up early to go to MK. Spent the first part of the day doing the rides that we each like. Buzz Lightyear, Teacups, Small World, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates. Had lunch at Pecos Bills. (Our favorite restaurant. Best fixins bar) DD ended up burning her finger on the hot cheese at fixins bar. Had to make a stop at First Aid. That was a first for us. They did a great job doctoring up her finger. Went back to the site around 2 so the kids could go for a swim and DH and I could relax. Went back to MK for parade and fireworks. Rained the whole time. We were freezing by the time we got back to site.
Friday was a goof off day. Slept in and then went to Downtown Disney. Had dinner at Chef Mickey's that night. It was good as usual.
Saturday we were going to go to Hollywood Studios but opted to just stay around the campground instead. We love it that the kids are old enough that they can go to the pool and playground and we can relax. It's great. At night we had one heck of a storm. We had wind gusts that we thought were going to blow apart our awning. DH and I were out there in the pouring rain and nickel-sized hail putting the awning away. Fortunately no damage.
Sunday we left. Boo-hoo!! But before we left we made reservations for another stay in June. Now I have something else to look forward to. Yeah!!

Oh, Jan??? Guess what??? You are now, officially, hooked on FtW!!! Living in St. Pete, you'll be there more & more. Say... one weekend a month?? Week at Xmas?? etc, etc, etc...

We moved from Sarasota, to Bradenton, and now, near Fantasy of Flight (25 miles from FtW) and we STILL camp at the Fort! It's a disease. Even if a 12 step program were offered for Fort Addiction, I wouldn't join it!!

I'm glad you had such a good time! There's more to come, I fear!

That's what you get for not showing up to Burl's porch for the picture.:stir:

We don't have a life do we Donnie? We leave the Fort and get right online with our fellow Dis'ers!!! Our drive was 9 hrs today. This should be punishment enough!!

What do you mean a life? I never left since I had my Sprint Card lol. I do need a life. Maybe I'll move to Michigan so I can live close to BigDisneyDaddy and he can teach me how to cook and work on trucks and what not.
