Just Got Back

We were at Ft. Wilderness Oct. 7-14!!! The weather was a bit warm and the parks were quite crowded. We normally go in October, November, Janaury, or February - and it's not too crowded. This October trip was VERY CROWDED!!! We found out while we were there that Georgia schools were out. We're guessing that's why it was so crowded.

We won't go again in early October. As Florida residents, we look for those non-busy times - even if it means taking our children out of school for a few days, and I'm a teacher!

Other than the crowds everything was great (as Disney always is). We stayed in Loop 300, which is a preferred pet loop. We had a great site, right behind the pet walk (great for the yorkie and basset hound). Hope to sqeeze in another short trip soon!!!

We got there the 6th of Oct. and both thursday and friday the parks were not too bad. Stayed in the 500 loop and as usual it was fine.

As far as too busy, anytime at FW is a great time and when it comes to the parks, we just hit early and quick and then head out making good use of the Seasonal Passes.
