Well, I'm home again.
We got back late last night after spending the morning at Epcot and the afternoon at Magic Kingdom. We had an absolutely wonderful trip! We were there from 1.20-1.25.
We arrived on Friday, the 20th and checked into CBR around 4pm. Check in was quick and easy, the CM who checked us in was great. We had a King Bed room in Trinidad North, building 33, room #3312. This was a corner room and was so big! We really loved it. Lots of sunshine through the windows, which we love! No complaints about CBR, but something kinda weird did happen on Saturday. Mousekeeping didn't come at all. We got back to the room and the tip was still there, bed unmade, no mousekeeping. It wasn't a big deal, we called and no one could figure out why. Other than that, everything was great at CBR! Anyway, after checking in we headed over to Epcot. We only had time to ride Spaceship Earth before going to dinner at Spoodles. (I'm going to review the dining plan in another thread.) After dinner, went back to EMH at Epcot and waited about 20 mins for Soarin and walked onto M:S. Headed back to the resort and went to bed.
Started out Saturday morning with breakfast before park opening at Crystal Palace. Rode everything in Fantasyland before 10 and finished everything in Tomorrowland before noon. The park was a little crowded, but not too bad. We used fastpass wisely, and didn't have to wait more than 20 minutes for anything. We did everything that was open in the Magic Kingdom that day. Splash was technically open, but closed around 5. We had a FP for it, but when we arrived to the return, it was closed for the rest of the night.
Sunday we went to Animal Kingdom. Everest looks great, and CM's were riding it while we were there. Nothing much to report here, just spent the day there until around 6 and then we headed to Epcot for dinner at Rose and Crown. Watched Illuminations, it was fantanstic even without the inferno barge.
Monday was MGM. NO CROWDS. The line for ToT was only 10 minutes, we walked into the preshow room without waiting at all. Rode twice in a row. Same thing for RR. No waiting! It was wonderful. Got to see the Narnia attraction, and it was really great. I love that movie! We saw Fantasmic that night, I love that show! It was wonderful! My favorite part is when the boat comes out at the end with all the characters and Steam Boat Willie is driving it! I love that!
Tuesday we spent the morning at the resort and then went to DisneyQuest to appease the video game nuts of our group. They had fun...I did not. I got a little
from the Virtual Rides and had to go sleep it off at the resort. After a good nap, I was ready to go. We headed to MK and rode a few rides before dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern and then Wishes. Wishes makes me teary eyed! I love the music and the magic of the entire show.
We spent Wednesday morning at Epcot and rode Soaring 2 more times and then did World Showcase. Of course we had to ride Spaceship Earth again, and then we headed to Magic Kingdom. We decided to to Fantasyland again and end the trip with PhilharMagic. It was great.
We're home again and already planning our trip for next January. We're considering severel resorts, so my research begins! We're thinking about going Deluxe next year. We're thinking about these resorts: Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Boardwalk, Contemporary, or Polynesian. Don't know what we'll do yet, but I'm sure I'll be on here asking questions about them! Can't wait till next year!
