Both parks have their merits and their parts that may seem lacking in comparison, but imho Disneyland is a magic place because it was and is Walt's park!

Don't be nervous, you will love it. I was the same way, 12 straights years of going to WDW and now my first to DL and let me tell you, even though it's smaller there are so many things that are so much better. The detail at DL is something you don't see at WDW and as others said it's because it's the one Walt built and you can see that.

You will truly have a magical time
