Just got Back - Quick Highs and Lows

Arrived back today from 10 days in O-Town

Highs

Weather - very hot (for August) and very little rain.

The Simpsons Ride at US

Seasons 52 - mmm flatbread

Picnic on Bradenton beach

Lows

Virgin Atlantic - 5 hour delay on the way out and a 1.5 hour delay on the way back. Various technical problems (inc sensor failure in an engine and the check-in system failing) General feeling that none of the staff were bothered.

Hurricane watching - Gustav on the left, Fay above, Hanna coming up fast on the right and 2 more on the way !!


Now counting the days until next year

We did Simpsons about 3 weeks ago, I was a big fan of Back to the Future and never watched Simpsons. All too fast and frantic for me, DW came off ill but she used to before they changed it so no change there. I am sure if you like the Simpsons its great but not for me.

in fact the ride motions are the same as BTTF,all they have done is improved the film,only added the buzz to the seats at end

I know that but the film was just all over the place to me, jumping from a coaster to somewhere else then back again, just didn't follow it, maybe I was having a bad day, wishing they hadn't changed the ride or given it a theming I liked,
