Left Disney on Nov 10th flying to Manchester and staying overnight in Bangor.

A few notes before I unpack and before I forget:

(1) The border at Houlton going to Canada was a breeze. Anyone going to the US would face another story .. I saw hundred of cars lined up. It must have taken hours to get through there. I couldn't believe it. I would have freaked if I was going into the US.

(2) Disney Marketing (need a bozo smiley here). I got tired of the Stacey commercials talking about the Halloween Party, when we were there from Nov 2nd to Nov 10th. Don 't they have a new segment for Very Merry Christmas? Plus getting home from Vacation to see an envelope with Disney bag tags ... Since this is not mt first time, its not an issue, but why not send them earlier?

(3) Did the stay park and fly at the Springhill Marriott, Manchester New Hampshire. Great Value, good service. Pleased.

(4) my cheapy usairways flights ~$550 USD from MHT to MCO plus return worked well. 4 people No seat problems, nothing .... would do it again in a heart beat.

(5) stayed at POP, but ate DDP. Feel like I'm the Michelin Man ... but the food was great .... diet time now ...

(6) learned again ... avoid epcot on Saturday afternoons during Food and Wine. Felt like a College pub crawl.

(7) Disney staff are the best ... Hats off to them!

Welcome back! Glad you had a great vacay!

We stay at either Marriott Springhill or Town Place Suites in Seattle and love it.
Great value! Nice to be able to leave your car for free.

Sorry about the luggage tags, we've always gotten DME tags 3-4 weeks before leaving.

Yes, love the DDP :goodvibes

Funny about Stacey, people either love her or hate her

I can't wait till our Jan. trip. We're flying out of Seattle again, love the cheap flights! $324 CAD RT :thumbsup2

Glad you had a great time:thumbsup2 Interesting about the border lineups. I heard on the radio the border crossings here had line ups as long as 3-4 hours going south:scared1:. I can't believe anyone would wait that long. I hope our Nexus cards come before we go down next Friday, or I'll be up at 6 am to cross.

Welcome home Ted, hope the vacation was good.

Looking forward to hearing more.

Welcome home! Will have to check the Springhill, we are booked for MHT-MCO in Feb. Nov 10, start of an extra long weekend, people taking the 11/12 together to go for a quick trip or shopping? We came through the new truck crossing in Calais this summer, great big new set-up and it was deserted.

How was the weather?

Glad you had a great trip. I was in the line up at Houlton on Thursday, got there at 10 am, got across at 11 am. There was only 1 official line, cars soon began passing us to start another, some even got out of our line, many of the ones that came from behind us got through before us. There was no one to direct cars into other lines, they just did it themselves. Not very considerate.

Glad you had a great trip Ted!!

We leave in 35 days...we are driving and crossing at Detroit I hope our wait it not that long :scared1::scared1:
