Just got back from a week long stay at POP... here are some brief details and heads up for those going soon. I will post a more elaborate review once I get some time this week.
- go with Dream Come True Vacations Everything was so perfect for our trip and they did a fantastic job getting all of our PS reservations set up. It was SO EASY working with them!!!
- Beach Club still has some hurricane damage to the roof and it really needs a new paint job... good news, they are working on the paint job now
- speaking of painting, the swan and dolphin are looking sharp as they are repainting those entire buildings (outside)
- parks WERE NOT CROWDED... most ride wait times were about 5-15 minutes...the longest I saw was 30 at Soarin' at 2pm one afternoon. Simply put, go to the parks early... and get every big ride done then
- Pop Century frozen coke machines did not work the whole week
- don't forget to tip your mousekeeper every once in awhile... they might just leave you something special
- if it is your birthday.. GET A BUTTON AT THE PARKS... really neat as all day you get happy birthday's from CM's and you might even get a surprise from your resort (as we did), and a few free deserts
- Beaches and Cream is awesome...enough said
- If you have some time to kill, go to Fantasia Gardens to play mini-golf. Word to the wise... if you get frustrated easily... only play the easy course (lots of neat special effects too) $10 to play (per adult)
- weather was awesome and so were all the shows
- Magical Express was less than magical on the first night. Took over 5 hours to get our luggage once we checked in. It was around 10:30pm when we got it. One family was there since 3pm and their lil girl was wanting to swim all day long but still didn't get their luggage until 10:30pm like we did (only after we personally went to the desk and asked where is our luggage) more on this in my later report... all in all magical express worked very well... they just need some more organization and I'm worried if they can't handle the crowds in may, can they in June and July?
