Shades of Green our home away from home

We got back late Saturday night (5th) the crowds and weather were great....the longest wait was for TSM 90 mins otherwise it was more like 10-15....it rained all day Friday but didnt bother us cuz it was our down day to do whatever and pack for home.
We had military tickets and werent sure if we could use them, due to our son who bought them for us, was not able to be with us. My DH had already used his military complimentary ticket and bought ours for May. But we were given a code before we left to use down there and the CM activated our tickets no problem! Then we had purchased the party tickets before the military special came out so once again we went to GR and gave another code we were given and we were given 80 credit back in cash!
We did stay at Shades of Green again, the first room only had one sink, it was one of the newly renovated ones, but we had requested 2 sinks and it was even on the ressies, so we called and they gave us another room asap. We are disappointed in the lack of places to eat. We miss Evergreens, we didnt try out the place by the Magnolia pool hrs didnt fit into our schedule. We mainly ate at the Express Cafe, while waiting for the buses in the morning. The buses were for the most part on time if not early, only once did we have to wait and that was the last day when it was nasty out. Oh yeah.....When we checked she tried to charge us for the week again and I said no we are paid in full and showed her our reservations apparently it wasnt noted on our account though...so be ware! The elevators seemed to be having issues also.....I prefer the stairs anyway but at night after walking all over the parks having an elevator would have been nice, they were either very slow or you couldnt go to the 3rd floor which is where we were! Over all it was pleasant stay as usual.
We walked over to the Poly the one day and checked out theirs and GF's decorations.....loved the
gingerbread house!
forgot to add....we flew SW had great seats on the way down, we pd for EBCI RT....on the way home was another story....there was a storm in Baltimore and our flight to Bflo via Baltimore kept getting delayed and finally cancelled. We were able to get on the last flight of night for Buffalo, after 10 hrs in the airport...our bags made it home the next day!
