Just got back today from the 12th floor at the CR. That was my first time there and I loved it. We requested a MK view odd numbered room but only got the MK view so I was very happy. We stayed in room 4846 which was the 3rd room from the MK side so we were real close. The view was amazing even seeing the Poly and the Grand Floridian. The light conceirge came in handy and we tried to use it as much as possible. We did MNSSHP twice and HHN at Universal. Had a great time at both. Oh when we went to MNSSHP on wed we saw Joey from INSYNC. He was with his wife and child and a few friends but it was so neat to see a super star :) at MNSSHP. We ate at the California Grill, Chef Mickeys and Concourse Steakhouse.

If anyone has any questions about anything feel free to ask :)

Welcome back, it sounds like you had a good trip.... If you have experience the concierge service at any of the other Disney resorts, could you tell us how the concierge lite compares and would you do it again?

Again welcome back and thanks for the trip report!

Could you tell if the refurb work (from the Hurricanes) on the Bay side Tower rooms was completed yet??
Christine

Bracho I have never done conceirge before as this was my first time so unfortunately I can't compare it to anything. The light conceirge was nice but I think if I was to ever do it again I would like the evening snacks so I would have to go with full conceirge (if my wallet could afford it). The continental breakfast did come in handy but after a while I got bored of it and needed something different. And not having a toaster for the bagels was a bummer on some days when the bagels weren't that fresh. We got back in the afternoon for the snacks on most days. Cookies, either rice krispie treats or brownies, gold fish and pretzels. Lemonade and coffee and tea. I'm glad I did it though cause it was neat.

drgnfly30 It looked that the refurb was non existent when we were there. None of the rooms looked like they were being worked on so I assume that they were completed. They were doing work on the cable and electrical stuff. One day during the day we lost cable and power for about an hour and one night from 1 am to 4 am we lost power but they sent us a note to inform us of the work they were planning on doing.

We have a trip coming up at the Contemporary Tower Club and were wondering if your room # 4846 was non-smoking....Better yet, is that end of the corridor non-smoking? Thanks in advance for your help!

TheMMMLtd our room 4846 was a Non smoking room. This room did not have the beds that faced the MK like I did request but depending on which bed you slept in you either woke up to the sun shining on the Grand Floridian or waking up to looking at the Poly. We personally slept on the bed closest to the wall (not the one closest to the balcany) and it was so beautiful waking up to see the Grand Floridian. When the sun rises it just glows on the Grand Floridian really a great view so after requesting an odd numbered room I certainly was not disappointed in not getting it.
