Just got back from Poly. LVC..

We just got back from the world after staying in Lagoon View Concierge at the Polynesian. We stayed from 1-10-03-1-14-03 and honestly had a great time. The WDW marathon had an absolutely huge amont of people but the theme parks were great except for Saturday!! We have stayed in GVC before but never Lagoon View and I must say that even though it's more expensive even with a discount for lagoon view, the lagoon view was honestly fantastic!!!! We were in room 3505 and had a WONDERFUL view!!!! The only downside about the trip was that it was pretty CHILLY during our stay!!! I'll post more about our trip and where we ate tomorrow. Thanks for posting- we are so excited for our upcoming concierge room- we asked for a third floor, view of the castle... hope there is a castle view available when we get there. We've stayed at the Polynesian, but never concierge. I can't wait! I was wondering what kind of crouds the marathon would bring. Sounds like they weren't bad. It seems like I've read a lot of negative posts about the Polynesian lately and it was nice to hear a good one. I'm glad you had a great trip!

We stayed in a Polynesian LVC room over the July 4th holiday this past summer and we LOVED spending time on the balcony. We brought our snacks from the lounge and just enjoyed the view. It was so peaceful to look out in the morning and great watching the castle change colors at night. We saw a few weddings out on the point and our view of the fireworks on the 4th was incredible! When we weren't enjoying the pool and the beach, we were hanging out on the balcony. You'll love it!
