It was great and can't wait to do it again!
We have always stayed at condos or on-site or hotels when traveling to Orlando. I am sold on pool homes!
We had my mom, my DS and his wife and our teenaged DD traveling with us this trip and the house was wonderful. DS had no interest in visiting the parks. All he wanted to do was visit army buddies and DH just wanted to veg at the pool, so it was the perfect arrangement for our group.
We stayed in a addition called Eagle Pointe. It was a true housing addition because all of our neighbors were locals. It was off the beaten path, but it was really easy to get back and forth to where we wanted to go.
For the price you just couldn't beat it. It was only $799 for the week including everything! Taxes, cleaning fees, wifi and the house was better supplied than our own home! You name it, they had it! When you break that down per person it was a really cheap trip! Everyone had their own bathroom and TV and the washer and dryer was great. We threw in a few loads everyday so we are coming home with clean clothes! We had breakfast and snacks at the house, so we really didn't cook, but they had a fully equipped kitchen and an outside grill had we wanted to.

When we go again with the grandkids and their Mother and Father, we'll do a pool home for sure.
