I want to follow up for those who remember my 'freaking out' post last Thursday about my abnormal mammogram. It was a false alarm, thank goodness. It was exactly like Lisa said in her reassuring response to my post: when they did a spot compression, the spot disappeared. The tech said sometimes breast tissue gets folded over on itself during the mammogram which causes the appearance of a lump. They took 3 spot compressions and an ultrasound and all came up normal. To say that I am relieved is an understatment. These past few days have been a nightmare. Thanks so much to all who responded with support and reassurance. Though I was still worried, it did help put things into perspective. :D

Thats great news, Kim. What a relief. :)

Thank heavens! :D

and I had never heard of that before.

:teeth: Those mammograms can be so nerve wracking - there's so many false positives - glad to hear this story ends happily!

I'm happy for you. It must be such a relief.

I'm VERY happy for you:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
I've been through the same thing several times and it's always such a relief when the problem is solved one way or the other. I'm glad yours was such a simple solution:Pinkbounc
Go Celebrate, you deserve it!
