This was our first trip to Disneyworld. We did 1 day at Ron Jon's Cape Caribe pre-cruise, a 4 day cruise on the Wonder, and then over to the Poly. We only planned 1 day at MK since our kids are 5 and 3 and due to time limitations, but we had a blast!! And, I found that even though it was an early magic hour day, it really wasn't anywhere near as crowded as I thought it might be. We opened and closed the park! ha ha. We had 8:10 ressies at CRT, and my DD5 was just sooooo adorable dressed up as Cindy. After brkfast, we changed her clothes and proceeded to Dumbo. It was about a 15 minute wait...same with Ariel. Most of the rides all day were within 5-20 minutes wait. We got to ride everything we wanted to do, some a few times.

The kids were so excited with all of the characters and princesses. WE had seen many on the ship, but didn't get to see Ariel and Jasmine until MK. My DS3 kept wanting to "tickle their bellies" TAlk about funny. He fell in love with Woody & Jessie. We didn't wait long for anything and hit the parades, Cinderellabration, Wishes, etc...just perfect timing and location on everything. I'm sure we'll be back when we can spend more days for the other parks. It was cloudy most of the day so not very hot at all. It rained briefly twice, but once again somehow we timed it right. It rained while we were inside doing Pirates of the Caribbean and while we were in eating at Cosmic Ray's. Helped cool things down and so brief showers were nice.

Overall great trip! And loved watching Wishes/EWP from the Poly the night before as well!

I was there that day too!!! Oh it was so much fun. There was a rumor that Johnny Depp was there too.

I've been reminiscing all day! DH too! I can't believe it...he loved it sooo much and seeing the excitement in our 3 and 5 year old's eyes, he's already said go ahead and plan another one! ha ha. It'll probably be May 07 due to plans we already have for next year, but kids will be 5 and 7 then and hopefully still as starry eyed! I know I was. We did get a notice in our room that starting today (sunday 9/25) there would be 2500 athletes doing the triathalon so many roads would be blocked off and the parks would likely be very busy. So, I'm glad we left 9/24! But, hopefully it won't be too bad for those there. I had heard someone famous was at the grand floridian from someone on the monorail, and now I can't remember who it was. It wasn't johnny depp though. I'll have to ask my DH when he wakes up from his nap! ha ha He's still worn out!
