If anyone has any questions, let me know.
The construction is underway. The lap pool closed on June 1st. They are working on the new lobby area. If you want to be able to sleep in, I suggest building 3 on the back side. We didn't hear anything. The only complaint that I heard the first day, was they were having problems with the elevators in building 2 and 3. They were working fine on our second day. We ate the seafood buffet at the Club Car with my certificate I got on EBAY. I didn't even have to give it to the waitress. She saw me holding it and asked for it. They must get them alot. The food was good. It was not super fancy, but filling. The kids enjoyed the buffet. It had a lot of things for the kids to choose. My oldest son ordered pizza from the menu. We never got a chance to have our picture taken. Oh well. I figure it was our last stay. We bought DVC.

Hi Anabelle,

We're staying there after our DCL cruise next month. Do you know if the Pizza Hut at HIFS acceptes the coupons that you get out of the paper? I have one of the pizza party coupons but I also has 3 young adult sons too! I can use a lot of help!

You may want to call HIFS directly about the coupons. I called to see if they would accept pizza hut gift certificates and they would not. Of course I brought them with us anyway..........tried to use them and they said NO

Anabelle, Could you tell me if you saw the 3 bedroom suites? We are going 6-16 to 6-20 and have rented one. Also, The certificate for the club car: Is it the 25.00 cert. I bought 4 from restaurant .com I did not realize in fine print it says 1 per month per table. I bought 4 for 12.00. I am not out much but just wondered. We are a family of 7. We have stayed here 3xs before but with the changes will probally stay on site next year. What did you think of the new childrens spa? Thanks in advance for any info. Sorry it took so long to reply.
No I did not see the 3 bedroom suites, but you can take a look on line to see the layout.
We did not see the spa so I can't answer.
As far as your certs, they know when they have been used. They sent me an email the next day acknowledging that we had just used the cert. I think they have to call them in.

I'd be interested in buying one of your certificates from you if you see you aren't going to need it. Just PM me and I'll send you the money and a SASE. You can get some of your money back!

Thanks!

hello
i just found your thread.I was wondering about the club car seafood buffet. What is on the buffet as far as seafood goes?and do kids under 12 get to eat from the seafood buffet for free???
thanks for your help in advance.
Also how hard or easy is it to get to this place from disney??
We will be onsite on tuesday and wanted to give this place a try
i found gc for 25.00 for 8.00.I told hubby to walk in with son and me and my daughter will go in a few minutes later and sit at separate tables and use our 8.00 gc's.

Your post doesnt sound like you really cared for the place. I am getting a little nervous now! We are staying off-site for the first time my dh's idea! And we are staying in a 2 bedroom kidssuite from dec 28th to jan 8th. Are we going to be terribly dissapointed? Our DS's are 8 and 2 any info would be appreciated. The pics on their website looked great the pools looked nice. It also said it was a mile from disney? Is that true? Thanks so much for any info!

Don't worry your kids will love it. My kids are mad that we bought DVC and won't be able to stay there when it becomes NickHotel. I am just disappointed that they got rid of the Entertainment rate. I don't think I would stay there for $169 a night, but $84 is a bargain.
My kids love the pools. I don't know if the remodel on the quiet pool will be done by then. but they will always have one pool open during the remodel.

It is about 10 minutes to the PARKING LOTS. Add about 30 minutes to reach the entrance to MK because you have to go to the TTC. The other parks add about 10 minutes from the lots. I found that MK was the most difficult to calculate transit time.
