I'm soooooooooo glad we did the Stroller as a Wheelchair. That was a BIG life saver. She sat in it till it was time to get on the rides. We also got the GAC, which was helpfull too, but the stroller was the best. :thumbsup2
We did have a meltdown in line to see Woody and Buzz, I had to go back out with her, they let us in the back door when ever our group got up to them.

Thanks for all the info, I wish we ahd known about this along time ago. All well, we know now, and now know what to do!!!!!:thumbsup2

I did Stroller as a wheelchair for both kiddos. They also gave me a GAC and just put it in my name, since it was for both kiddos.

Thanks for the report and glad to hear you had a great time.

One of the things that is always interesting is that some of the kids who seem to like the stroller in lines best were the ones who don't normally want to be sitting in one. I think there is just so much stimulation at WDW that they are happy to have a familiar place to retreat to.

I agree, she doesn't like the stroller usually. I was soooo glad she did at Disney!

:thumbsup2 That sounds about like us! My son doesn't like to be confined in the stroller, but we go to Silver Dollar City pretty regularly and if they have a GAC type thing, I haven't been able to find out about it. He HATES waiting in the lines without his stroller. It's just too much confusion with all th epeople getting in his personal space and wanting to run ahead and not being allowed to. The GAC made our Disney trip!

We vacation in two places, Disney and Branson. Disney is much more disability friendly because we have yet to see anything like the GAC at Silver Dollar City either.
