Just got back from 4 days at OKW pictures

Great pics!! What kind of camera did you use?

Thanks, I used a Nikon D100 camera. Yea, we did alot we were able to get to all 4 parks and the weather was pretty good. Not to hot and no rain at all.

Thanks for looking at the photos,
Chris

Thanks for posting your photos -- they are great getting psyched up for our upcoming trip (as if we need any help with that)!! Particularly glad to read that Lacee (in another post) and your family both enjoyed OKW since that's where we are staying!

Your poor wife on the teacups! I know all too well about that feeling. It lasts for hours, too......
I hope you weren't laughing as you took those photos? ;)

Yes, actually I was laughing at her and I was telling my daughter to spin the cup faster. :(

Excellent pics!!!!!

RuthnPaul,

We are also staying at OKW this trip!!!!!
Hope to run into you guys there!

Great pics! We'll be at the OKW Sunday! Hopefully we will have plenty of pictures to share as well.

Great pics ! Thanks so much for sharing.....can't wait 'till we'll be there......3 more weeks :cool1:

Hope you have a great time! My only slight complaint is the boat shuttle to Downtown Disney. With Saratoga Springs on the same boat route the boats were very crowed and sometimes couldn't hold all the people and from 11am to 4pm the boats only run every 60 min.

Have fun!!

Chris

Yes, thanks for the photos. I'll be taking my own in just a few days! I'm so anxious I'm about to burst!!

doc and family: We'll be at VWL. If you see a couple with LSU clothing (shirts, cap, shorts) stop and chat. It might be us!! My DH usually wears the purple and gold more than I do.

Hope everyone has a great time!

That's about how I feel on the teacups.

Nice photos. I have never been able to get nice Lion King pictures - do you remember your camera settings?

Yes, the Lion King photos were shot on ISO 640 in shutter priority at 160th of a sec with my flash set at +2 flash compensation.

It really depends on what camera and flash you have. My camera was a Nikon D-100 with a Nikon SB-800 flash. Hope this helps. The building were the lion king was got really smokey towards the end of the show and I think that's why the picture are alittle hazey or smokey looking.

Good Luck!!
Chris

Oooh! You're bad; I wouldn't ride the teacups with you! I won't ride that with anyone come to think of it:eek:

I did love your pix, can't wait to head down to Disney this Friday:teeth:

Thanks,
Lisa:sunny:

I can't do the Teacups either ! Put me on Rock N Roller coaster (or any of the coasters at IOA) and I'm perfectly fine. But I get so sick on the Teacups and the Carousel. :scared: :crazy2:
My dh always has to go on those with the kids and I "man" the camcorder on the sidelines !

Me, too Maria. I can ride most things fine such as roller coasters, but tea cups? Forget it! One year hubby insisted I ride them - oh, I can make it go slow he said....

I was sick for HOURS. That is the worst feeling, especially in that heat! It really does make you green and to me ruined the day.

Every trip they try to make me ride Mission Space. I will NEVER board that thing, especially after I saw about a fifty year old man getting sick by a bench outside the ride.

(Which reminds me, back in June I saw a CM having to clean up one of the tea cups. My hubby and kids were in line and I kept trying to scream at him not to sit in that cup! What a yucky job! Wonder how many times a day they have to do that?
