First time at this resort for me. I loved it and the kids loved it. We were put in building 5 room 5131 first floor. Great location. Close to everything. View of the lake and steps away from the Hippy Dippy Pool. It rained a couple of nites and the pool was closed cause of lightning. Food was good there and I had the Tye Dye cheescake. I've had much better. I'll try and answer any questions if you ask. I'll definitely stay there again.

Welcome back! Since you were only there 3 nights, you may not have used the laundry facilities, but that's what I'm wondering about. I'd like to know how much they cost and where they're located, if possible.

emer95-Sorry I cant help you with that question but I'm sure somebody will come along and answer.

My boyfriend and I just got back from the POP this weekend also. This our second time staying at the POP and we love it. Last time we were in the 60's and this time in the 90's. So far preferred the 60's side better. Also got to check out the abandoned side of the hotel for the "Legendary Years" that has not been completed. Totally eerie, but cool at the same time! We had rewards point from our Disney Visa to spend, and stayed the night at POP. Loved it!! Hope everyone has a stress free and wonderful week! Almost Friday!:hippie:

My friend who used the laundry facilities said that it was a bit cheaper than when he did laundry at home... Of course, he took his own detergent.

I second the motion to have them finish Legendary Years!!!

I may end up staying there again this year! I loved it last year and need to compare costs between Expedia and a package rate thru AAA....

Not to be nosy  but couldn't help but notice from your signature that you met at WDW?! I'm a true romantic and would love to hear how it happened, if you don't mind sharing. Thanks!

DBF and I are staying at POP next week (M-W). This will be my first stay on-site! This is his first time to WDW in over 25 years. I can't fathom that AT ALL... I mean, never seeing EPCOT or MGM... inconceivable!!! This will be our first vacation together, so I am extra excited. (Plus I get to watch him experience everything for the first time... so awesome!)

laundry is $2 and located at each pool area...

have to ask....how do you compare to your allstar experiences?

if I have to ask them in order where I woudl stay... it would be:

- Pop - I love the theming...

- ASMu - my heart will always belong to jazz inn bldg .. very quiet and had good housekeeping

- ASMo - as long as I am in Broadway Bldg... still quiet locations...

- ASSprt -only if I have to! seems like whenever we go there a school activity/fieldtrip is going on :(

I agree with your rankings, to me Pop and ASMu are about tied. Pop has the better food court, but ASMu is quieter. My only complaint with Pop on my last stay was the mattress quality (horrible) and the noise level. We had noisy neighbors the whole week and the walls are so thin at Pop that we could hear them at all hours day and night. It was really irritating.

Glad you had a great time at my favoriate Resort. Going back for the fourth time in 19 days. 60s Section (hopefully overlooking the Hippie Dippie Pool).

How was the bus service to the MK? Going and coming home at night?
