Just got back flew Continental

We flew Continental with a connection in Newark, can highly reccommend them, good leg room great service on time (mostly but delayed 1 hour in Gatwick due to fog) and clean.

Immigration in Newark was a breeze.

Booked house on www.daystarvillas.com in Emerald Island Resort, again could not be faulted.

Booked car through Elle a member of the forums yet again great service at a great rate.

Weather was not brilliant as I like it hot hot hot but it was OK.

Traffic was a nightmare!!!!!!!! The 192 is now so conjested at certain times of the day it is like London!!!

The week after Easter (our first week) was so busy we walked into Carrabas at Formosa and was told we would have to wait 1 1/2 hours. Did not do any parks that week ;-))

Crush n Gusher is great !!

Overall would not go at the same time again way to busy and a bit cold for me I prefer end of May and September. I hope the new roads will ease the traffic on the 192 as well.

Welcome Home Martina

When we went for Easter 2003 we didnt venture into any of the parks either, just going to DTD gave us some idea of just how busy it was going to be.

We came back on March 27th, would never go this time of the year again because the weather wasn't very good at all - rained a lot and was quite cool most of the mornings.

Easter weekend like you say, the parks were very busy, only to be expected though.

We flew with Continental on our last trip too, I couldn't fault them, they were excellent. I will be using them again in the future, I was a bit worried about the connecting flight and missing it etc but the service we recieved at Newark was really good.

We flew Business First on Continental and I have to say the service etc was second to none with true silver service for meals. Even in economy it appeared to be reasonable too.

Glad you had a great time martina, we stayed at Emerald Island about 3 years ago and are now hooked on the place, we are going in October and have rented out a 6 bedroom villa - cant wait.
