Just got back! Faxing room request really works!!

Hey, guys! We just got back yesterday and I just wanted to tell you guys that I faxed my room request in 2 days before....All Star Movies-Toy Story section---1st floor! Boy, oh, boy...we were in room 9701, end room right in the middle of Andy's Room!!! We had a blast...just wanted to let you know that it worked for me! It was a little loud at times (all the kids loved playing here, pictures taking, too), but we didn't care because we were always at the parks! Plus my 8 year old could play while we watched from the room! Can you tell that we had a great time?????

What time did you check in? I am planning to fax a room request for the first time and I was wondering if they assign you a room in advance or is it based upon what is available upon check-in. I am trying to figure out if I need to drive all the way to Orlando the night before and stay off-site or if I can leave from home and check-in around 4 or 5 pm and still get a good room.

Hi! We were in the same room as yours from March 4-13. We loved the location. My son played outside alot too while I watched from the window. It was great! Stacey

Room Assignment for special request is usually done 1-2 days before your arrival. Holiday times about 3 days out. When I was an RA and it was really busy and we had a lot of request we filled the request based on the age of the reservation. Anytime after 3pm is the usual time for c/i. If you did not have a request then you are assigned a room at c/i. Preregistering is a good idea, you never know a room might be ready. You can get you id cards, make PSs and take off to the park if you want. Then call back later for your room number.

We drove and got to Orlando at 3:00--we wanted to get a day in at the parks so we headed right over to the Magic Kingdom and stayed until the park closed at 8:00, so I guess I checked in around 9:00pm... I did make my reservations around the first of Jan. We enjoyed our stay so much! StaceyD-that's neat! We checked in on March 13!!!!!!!
