Just got back...celebrity sighting!

I just got back from a Disney vacation last night. Tuesday was a free day so we parasailed at the Contemporary and then headed over to MK to see what we could accomplish. A lot, it turned out! From about 1-6 we did everything we wanted to do and ended up not going on our scheduled MK day. On the way out I saw a familiar face. It was Carrie (Lurkyloo) and she was dressed up as the haunted mansion bride.Her husband and the Roots were with her. (Were they paparazzi?) I momentarily snapped out of my zombie state and yelled out "Carrie?" to see if it was really her. You would have thought I had spotted a celebrity; I had been yapping all day about stuff we could do for the wedding so it was really cool to see her. I realized as I was walking away that I really wasn't engaging in conversation and didn't even introduce Ray. Sorry about that, 24 hours later I would realize that I had caught a DW cold and I guess that's why I was so beat.

We ended up not going to the wedding pavilion or Francs because I felt bad, but we did go to the boardwalk and check out sea breeze point on our way out on Sat and I'm SO glad. It was my #1 choice but I really didn't care for it in person. I think I thought the lake was bigger and the surrounding bldgs were further away in the distance. I still want to do a photoshoot on the boardwalk though.

That's so cool. I imagine I would do the same thing. Wonder of Carrie and the Roots ever thought of themselves as Disney Wedding celebrities before?

Oh dang—I clicked on this thread thinking I was gonna get to see more pix of that dreamy Matthew Morrison from Glee with the Evil Queen!





It was great to meet you at the MK last week, but I apologize for Patrick's refusal to break character as Tokyo DisneySea's Harrison Hightower! The Roots were showing us around MNSSHP cuz we'd never been before. It was neat!

I thought it was hilarious that he didn't break character! He did at least admit to being your husband. Was he able to keep it up all night?

Ahh I am sorry I missed the chance to meet you Carrie and all the other DisBrides we were there from the 7th Oct to Oct 24th (not at Disney until 9th) we got married the 14th at SeaBreeze Point. We are already planning a trip next year so hopefully some of you will be there then.

I bumped into Carrie at the Adventurers Club the week it was closing. I guess before she had her celebrity status. She was talking to a couple that was getting married that week that also recognized her. My friends were teasing me because I was acting like I just met a celebrity.

Hi Carrie - were you also at the Epcot 3D Desert party on Friday, October 15th? I swear I saw you guys up at the front of the VIP area for Illuminations!

We were going to say hi but got distracted by the drunk guy behind us, wearing his Mickey 3D glasses and yelling "OH MY GOD! THIS IS THE BEST $40 I EVER SPENT!!!!".
