We just got back from staying at the ASM. It was just OK. I honestly wasn't impressed for many reasons and we decided to upgrade to a nicer resort for our trip in September. We did get to do 3 character meals and we still had a blast. Just wish the hotel was nicer. Anyway, are the rates out for september yet? Any specials for the Disney Visa cardholders. Our rate for this past stay was only 60.02 a night. Here are a few snaps from our trip! OK..more then a few!

Your pictures were wonderful and you certainly have a lovely family. Happy you had such a great time.:)

Great photos. Looks like you did both Princess Breakfast in Norway and CRT. Would you reccomend that? We've done CRT twice and I wanted to try Norway this year and wasn't sure if I should also do CRT.

I know what you mean about the All Stars. We stayed there once when we were getting in really late and we didn't want to pay deluxe rates for a single night's sleep. We did transfer to the Poly the next day, but the ASM set the tone for the start of the trip. If you think the accommodations are part of the WDW experience then choose a resort that will not only meet your needs, but also your expectations. If you are a we-only-need-a-room-to-sleep-in kind of traveler, then the value resorts are the way to go. With so many choices, WDW has something for everyone. Have fun planning your next trip.

Those are great pics! I love #15...and the beach shots too. We are doing our first character breakfast next week at Chef Mickey's. Can't wait....
I know what you mean about planning another trip. Every time we go (and we only live an hour away) I find myself online within days planning another trip over. The hotel is definitely a major part of the experience. We feel in love with Wilderness Lodge which is why we are going back. The last trip was Pop Century and it was nice but did not feel magical like the Lodge did for us.
Have fun planning!

Thanks!

As far as doing both character meals (the princess ones) No, I don't think I would do both again during the same trip. The thing was that I thought the one at the Castle was only Cinderella and her friends (like the prince, godmother etc...) I had no idea that the other princesses were gonna be there. So it was actually a nice suprize. We did the one at Epcot last year too (the storybook one) but for some reason this year I felt very rushed and almost didn't enjoy it that much.

Im not one to think that the room you stay in makes the trip by any means. But when you have a 3 year old, and an 17 month old who needs a crib it gets crowded in that little room. It was kinda dark and drab too(sorry, don't know a better word for it) and the worst was that the main pool was closed down!!

OK, so are the rates out yet for september besides the pay for 5 one?

I know exactly what you mean, we went on an unexpected spur of the moment trip in March, and all I could find a decent deal for room was at the ASMu, it was just ok, pretty comparable to a comfort inn or something similar, but like you, we immediately started planning our trip back, and Iam sorry to say that the codes or ap rates are not out yet. We decided to return in Oct, when the weather is perfect and the crowds are almost non-existant. We also wanted to take part in the MNSSHP. I booked a room at the Ft. Wilderness Resort, well, actually it's a wilderness cabin. It has a lot more room, with a full kitchen, and seperate bed and bath. There is also a lot to do at the Ft. Wilderness resort, you might want to give it look. I think it must get overlooked alot. I never thought of it until now. Anyway, I booked it at the rack rate and they told me to keep calling and checking back with them to see when the special rates and offers come out. We are Fl residents and I am certain we can beat the rate of $269/night. I hope this helps you.

BTW, what kind of camera do you have?? Your pictures are so clear!! where did you find the little Snow White outfit your daughter is wearing it is so so cute!

Great pictures, thanks for sharing them. Glad you had a great time. We just returned a week ago and we are ready to go back again as well. We probably will not return for another 2 yrs, but i feel it's never too early to start planning.:D

Thanks! Kim, I have a Canon Digital Rebel. The outfit was made by a designer on ebay. But.hehe, I have the one my daughter wore listed in my auctions this week. My ID is "emersonsmom". That didn't take long to turn around and sell it, huh? LOL
