Since I was FINALLY able to book our flights on SWA yesterday (at a GREAT rate, by the way :cool1: !), I then called to book the first 4 nights of our WDW stay at PC (before we move over to OKW for 5 nights). While I was on the phone I asked about AP rates for March. I was told that they AP rates were available through 4/15, BUT I had to call back between 2 pm - 5 pm (EST) to speak to an AP "specialist" :confused3 to see if the rate could be applied to my reservation (rack rate of $115/night + tax). Well, I called today and after being on and off hold for 40 minutes (thank goodness I used the toll-free number) I finally got the AP rate of $80/night + tax  !! It was kind of frustrating because they were having such trouble trying to apply the discount to my current reservation. I asked the CM if we could just make a new reservation and cancel my first reservation. At first she said she couldn't do it because my travel agent would lose the credit. Duh... I made the reservation myself :confused3 . So after another 10 minutes of going back and forth she said they could do me a "favor" and cancel my original reservation and make a new one. If I knew it would be that difficult, I would have just called in and made a new reservation today and then cancelled the first one afterwards. In the end, the savings made it worth it  ! Just thought I would let my DIS friends know that AP rates were available. I really didn't think I would be able to do this over the phone :confused3 .

Great job! I bet you are relieved. Sheesh, between SWA and BRP, I'm going nuts. :crazy2: I've been waiting a while for these AP rates to open up for late March. Lo and behold, I checked a little while ago and was able to book two nights at AP rate for the last week of March (only two nights then we go on cruise). And I'm very very happy with these prices, especially for spring break. Better than I expected. :)

Yesterday, we snagged a flight TO Orlando on SWA. We missed out on the lowest fares, but got the one just below the highest rate. We haven't booked our flight home yet, since those dates still haven't been released, but bit by bit, we are acquiring more pieces to our vacation puzzle.

If anyone is interested, these are some of the room rates I found for the last week of March - some amazing BRP deals here:

AP RATES *Best Rate Program*
per night standard room
Value 89
MODS 122
AKL & WL 185
CR 218
BC 319
POLY 336
GF 381

And now - RACK RATES
per night standard room

Value 129
MODS 195
AKL & WL 333
CR 364
BC 462
POLY 485
GF 529

Tink: can I ask you to look for the same dates, from 2/25 to 3/4?
I'm interested in Values, WL, and FW Cabins.
I'm wondering if they are different, b/c they are (potentially) covered by the upcoming 1/1-3/8 general public discount.

Here ya go:
BRP 7 nights 2/25-3/4

Value 624.40
WL 1295.70
FW Cabins 1451.80

Hope that helps!

In the immortal words of Crush: "You so totally rock!"

Thanks! Very helpful. Slightly less than the late march rates, which is interesting as both sets of dates are peak season:

Values 80 (rather than 89)
WL 166 (rather than 185)
FWC 186

Interesting!

I am so excited!! THanks for the March BRP heads up! I just booked it!!!

I just booked our SWA flight this morn (one way, the return is in April so as of now we don't have a way home) for our spring break trip, thanks to the DIS I found out I could book our ADRs today for that trip!!, and now I got the resort deal I was waiting for thanks to this thread!! I just booked the GF main building concierge!!! :goodvibes I am jumping out of my skin!!!! I saved about $1,000 for the week! :sunny:

I had just checked the passholder site ealier today, and they had not changed it yet. I am thrilled, can you tell????

THANKS, guys!!!

Yes, I assumed so too. The nightly rates I posted were the total rates, divided by 1.115 (removing tax), and then divided by seven (# of nights).

The rates I originally posted did include tax, but I didn't round off the cents to the nearest dollar, I just dropped the cents altogether, so that could account for a minimal amount of discrepancy.

On Brian's rates, I gave exact quotes including tax and he did the math. ;)

I'm happy so many of us got great rates. Now for that trip home...lol.
