she's standing in a 2 hour line for the Haunted Mansion!!!
it's the halloween version....but still....2 hours!!!! :scared1:

today's her first day of 4 at Tokyo Disney Resort....

maybe i'll convince her to write a TR for us....

Wow, you wouldn't catch me lining up for 2 hours (unless it was for Captain Jack Sparrow :rotfl2: :rotfl2: )

I hope she's having a great time, and we'd love to hear all about her trip :thumbsup2

Mandy :)

Mandy :)

me either!...
i hope all the lines aren't like that...
i've heard that tokyo disneyland and disneysea can have REALLY long lines...i guess it wasn't just a rumor...
i wonder if they've been to pooh yet....
she's with a friend of hers....a girl who's never been to disney ever anywhere....and she's madly in love with Pooh...the pooh ride at TDL is supposed to be amazing...different from the other parks....
i hope they don't have to stand in another 2 hour line for that one..

on the trip report board, i read a trip report by someone who had to stand in a 90 minute line for the FASTPASS for pooh.....can you imagine a 90 minute line for a FP???    ...i can't....

i hope they're having fun despite the lines....
maybe i'll sprinkle a little pixie dust for her... :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

2 Hours :sad2:
would like to read their trip report too.
Hope they are enjoying thier trip

i just looked at the time the SMS hit my phone - 3 am my time, which is 10 am tokyo time...
so at 10 am, there was already a 2 hour line at the haunted mansion!!!!
talk about a scary place!!

i didn't mention the messages she sent after that one.....
she sent the inscriptions on the gravestones in the graveyard.....
funny kid with waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time on her hands....

it's 5 in the afternoon there now...i hope she didn't spend too much time in line today.....

i can't wait to hear all about it....maybe she'll call tonight after the park closes....i can't stand living vicariously.....

WOW that is some wait. Hope she managed a few other rides too!

Far too long, hope she managed some other rides too.

i really hope they made it onto the winnie the pooh ride there...it's supposed to be fantastic....but with lines even worse than for haunted mansion

i guess they started with TDL today, so that means tokyo disney sea tomorrow...i hope she's taking millions of pictures...

Hope she is having a great time Beth, cant wait to hear all about it:thumbsup2

Great to hear she having a great time

Why are the lines so long? Is it just popularity of certain rides or the amount of people in the parks?

that was on monday, which was a national holiday in japan (autumnal equinox day)....
so probably every school child in tokyo was in the park that day..
(but she was guaranteed entrance into the park since she's staying on property.....)

not the best day to go to tokyo disney, but she's there for 4 days (2 days at disney sea, 2 days at disneyland), so it should be ok...

i haven't heard from her since the first day - i hope it's all going well..
today was her first day in tokyo disneysea....

actually to answer your question a bit more accurately, from what i hear, the lines are difficult there - though not 2 hour lines....but even on regular days there are significant lines....but hopefully, she'll give us more information once she's home (or lazing the days away on the beach in thailand)...
