Just got a PIN code, decisions, decisions!

Just got a pin code in my email -

"book by 10/24 for travel now through 12/23/2010" - email says 30% off, rates I was quoted seem to be more like 25%.

Just when I thought I had my itinerary fixed! Now I'm thinking of adding another Universal night....
 
I never get these emails. I signed up earlier this year and again last month. Nothing from Universal in my spam folder either... :(
 
I got one tonight, as well. We have a reservation for what seems to be a busy time, so I am hoping we can apply it to our current reservation. Can't wait to go!
 

How do you sign up for offers for Universal? I have the 14 day tickets to use sometime in the future. And my 13 yo does not want to do Disney next year:( I am so sad:(
 
I got a pin about a month/6 weeks ago & rebooked using that to save some money. Now I just got another one. I think it's the same discount, but could I save a bit more with the new code, or will they just give me the same price? I guess I can hope for some more savings.

Hope you all get & can use your pins. Lucky, this is the first time I have been able to use a pin.

Oh, also. Don't remember where I put my e-mail in to get offers, but I think I just signed up to receive Universal info. & that was it.

Never mind on the pin. Looked at my notes & turns out it's the same pin #. They have just now sent it to me again.

Also, there is a sign-up button at the top right on the main Universal Orlando page.
 
got the pin as well and got excited for a minute...just yesterday I booked a room paying $300 a nite. Alas cannot apply it on my reservation as the hotel is fully booked next week when I'm going:(

Are you calling for the reservation or checking the site? I'm putting the code into the site but find no difference from last month's prices.

Also, I don't understand the dates 10/24 -- 12/23. Are they for when the reservation is made or the date it's set for?
 
You have to make your reservation by 10/24, for travel dates now until 12/23/2010.

You need to call for reservations with a PIN code.
 
If anybody has a pin they aren't going to use, I would love to have you PM me if it's not connected to a specific individual. We'll be there the week leading up to Christmas Eve (checking out on the 24th) and would love a discount! :goodvibes
 
those pins are connected to a person, they ask you a couple of things over the phone to confirm. Other than that, I'd give you mine:sad2:
 
I just got the 30% off pin as well. It really couldn't have come at a better or worse time, as I have been trying to talk myself out of taking another trip in November. I just went in July but I want more Potter time. Now the temptation is greater. Sigh.
 
I wish I could get a PIN code! :sad2: I am registered for emails on Universal Orlando; maybe one will come through yet pixiedust:. We are going for a long weekend in November and right now I am booked at the Doubletree. I can't justify the difference in price to stay on-site but I think with 30% off, I would do it.

I've been registered on the site for years and have never gotten a PIN code. I just went and registered again with a different email address (just in case). :laughing:
 
I think I did a survey for Universal as well. I think I was on the site and a box popped up asking if I wanted to take a survey. I took the survey, so maybe that added my name somewhere and that's how I got the pin. Hopefully using 2 different e-mails will get you one. :thumbsup2

The survey popped up yesterday when I added the new email, and I completed it. Maybe I'll get lucky!
 
I've done several surveys and I think I may have gotten a pin once but we are not going until 2012 so hopefully they will send me one then. I get them all the time for Disney :(
