Not sure if this has been posted yet - but keep a look out for one! Here's hoping you'll get it and it will work for your dates

Save up to 40% on a Disneyland Resort hotel when you book before February 12, 2011 and visit between January 4, 2011 and April 14, 2011.

* Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel — Enjoy 30% off standard room rates.*

* The Disneyland Hotel — Enjoy 35% off standard room rates.*

* Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa — Enjoy 40% off standard room rates.*

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll use it. We're headed to WDW in May 2011. Sad that Disney won't send us that pin code! For those who keep track, I've saved at least 3 trips on each Disney account for WDW, and I got a DLR pin code. Go figure :confused3 The mystery continues! DH got the same pin code too...

I got one a couple minutes ago too:) I saw this thread, checked my e-mail and there it was!

Still trying to debate using it though...Right now we have a room booked at Homewood Suites which we have stayed at before and liked (the full kitchen and sep bedroom is great). We are renting a car, so transportation isn;t an issue. But we have always wanted to stay at the GCH. It's still a hundred dollars more a night though which I'm not sure is worth it...

Just checked and I have another account that got the pin code too! :rotfl: Of course this would happen now. Two years ago when we had APs...we never got pin codes for DLR, only WDW...

Yay!!:cool1: It's so fun to get them, isn't it? They used to send me a bunch of them, and then when I didn't stay onsite at all in 2009, they stopped sending the PINs to me until a month or so ago.

But now I have a PIN for $163 per night at the PPH - which I am using in December!!! That's 35% off, and it's on par with, or better than, AP rates for December - in fact, the current AP numbers showing on the hotel calendar for December are hideous and they may not even release any good rates (like the rates that dip below $200) at all. My PIN offer is even a few bucks cheaper than the current "special offer" for the PPH that the AP site shows - I think that one is like $168 per night or something.

I know exactly how I got this PIN - they sent me the $163 per night offer after I went onto the DLR website, plugged in some December dates for the PPH at the 20% discount they were showing, did not book anything, and then saved the offer/final total in the "Saved Offers" section of my My Disneyland account. I didn't book it, just saved it. Sure enough, a few days later they emailed me the $163 offer with a PIN code and said, "We see that you're considering another stay at the Paradise Pier Hotel..."

When I called to book my PPH room with that code, I told the CM on the phone that I had a PIN, and she started to ring me up under some general PIN code they were offering to a lot of people. I told her I had a different one - which she had not heard of - so she pulled up my name in their system and saw that this offer was attached to my account. She said no one else had booked with that rate yet. I'm not sure who else got it.

I got it too! It is saving me for our GCH stay in January and I am so excited. I guess I will officially cancel the Hojo now, with this deal I am for sure staying onsite!:yay:

I have gotten pins for DL before, but never for WDW which I desparately need for 2011.

Sherry, I was on the disneyland website yesterday and put our dates in to see if anything had gone down, maybe that was what did it for me. I do that for WDW all the time but no luck!

How do you get these? I've got the Disney Visa, an AP and I get all sorts of emails from Disney, but I've never received a PIN code for any kind of discount?

Thanks Sherry

Just tried this - offer would be good for me - I'll let u know if I get a code

I was coming here to check. I got a pin code too and since I know we are going during spring break, I think I am going to be giving Disney a call to see what kind of deal we can get. I have off property for $99 a night, so one of these resorts might work well for us!!

that we get this pin code! I just tried the 'save-an-offer' trick and hope this generates an email with a pin.

OP - thanks for posting about the pin. I wonder if this code means a general public code will follow...

I wish that I had one! We're going in January and would love that discount!

We got it, too!

Yesterday, I got an email asking me to do a survey (45 minutes) and today I got a pin code. I don't know if it's related or not?

Hhhmmm, we just might have to upgrade our 5 day hoppers to APs when we go in December...

For those of you who got the pin, is there a minimum number of nights and do you have to book as a vacation package with tickets or can it be a room only booking? Also, if one were to have the pin and check in a few days before Jan. 4, would you get the discount for the whole stay or only the nights starting on Jan. 4?

I did not have to book a package, I booked a room only package for our five nights in January.

You would need two separate reservations most likely. One at the non pin higher rate, and one starting the day the pin goes into affect. At least that is the way they generally work.

Also, be sure and check your spam folder, sometimes the emails end up in there!

Good luck, its a great deal!

The PIN offer I got for $163 per night - which is a little different than what hurleysweety got - is not a package. It's a room only reservation, and it only requires a one-night stay (but I booked 3 nights). I can book up to two rooms with this offer (but I only booked one). The CM at Reservations did not recognize my PIN offer when I first called - she thought it was another offer that is circulating around, which requires a 2-night stay. She had to actually pull up my name in the Disney database to see that the PIN I was talking about was attached to my name.

The PIN offer would only go into effect on the date it indicates. So if the dates leading up to 1/4 were not included in the PIN offer, then you wouldn't be able to use the PIN for those nights and the discount would start on January 4th or whenever.

Did the PIN offer you get specify dates? I've tried to trigger PIN codes on the WDW site but I've never received anything. Here's trying again!

I've never got one by e-mail but get them by a post card in the mail. Anyone else get them by mail?
I didn't get one in my e-mail either.

I'm in the same boat. I expect mine to arrive in the mail box just after disney makes a general public offer.
