Just got a Panasonic TM700 camcorder, any tips?

Don't even know if you guys talk about camcorders and videography on this board or if its mainly just photography, but I thought I'd ask anyways.

bumping just incase anyone has any tips. I picked up a gorillapod for filming the fireworks and night stuff. I really want to be able to get some good video of the dark rides. Do you think this camcorder will be fine if I put it on low light scene mode or should you do it all manual? Also, what would be the benefit of filming in 24p cinema mode? My plan is to film our whole trip and then come home and use our iMac to make a video with music and everything. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
