Another member joining the Kreuig Krew here! I first heard about this machine from my dad's wife back in early October, when I got to try a cup at their house. I was so surprised how fast it made that cup! I wasn't that big of a coffee drinker, but dh has to have his coffee every morning.

What really sold me was the My K Cup single filter that gives you the ability to use regular coffee as well as k cups. I don't think we would have wanted the machine without the ability to use regular coffee since we can't afford to buy a lot of k cups. And I'm a mostly decaf drinker while hubby needs high octane, so the single cup brewing makes sense for us. I told hubby I was thinking of getting a Keurig for Christmas for us last year, but my dad surprised me with one for my birthday last November.

One of my all-time favorite coffees is Millstone's Holiday Peppermint, and so far I haven't found a mint-flavored coffee k cup. But I stock up on the Millstone beans when they're available & use the single filter. I've still got 6-7 lbs of beans left which may get us through the summer.

I also get Kona Blend decaf beans from Sprouts, and love that as my non-flavored coffee choice. I really liked the Tully's Kona Blend that came in the sampler, but as I said, I prefer decaf. And I don't see any decaf Kona blend k cups at all. The Carribou Coffee house blend in the sampler wasn't bad, so I might try their k cups.

Anyways, I call the Kreuig the "coffee addiction machine" since I went from drinking coffee only once or twice a year, to drinking about a cup a day now. Same with my dad's wife. It's just so darn easy to make it a habit now!

If someone wants to send me a PM with the coupon code for BigCat, I'd appreciate it. I've got a Purr-fect Pack sampler created & saved, so I'll order it eventually.

I've just come to the realization that I'm not a flavored coffee fan. Coffee People Donut Shop and Kona Blend for me. Newman's Extra Dark is good too.

I'm guessing that it's somewhere between 20 and 30 K-cups. If anyone wants them, I'd be glad to send them out. Just send me a PM.

Caribou Blend Yuck! I only have 5 of them but nasty nasty nasty bold coffee. I just gave all my other bolds to another DISer. Happy Drinking!! My fave so far is Green Mtn Dounut house coffee I think it is different from the coffee people one. The two flavors I like the most are vanilla caramel creme and spicy eggnog. Live and learn I have alot of not so favorite coffee to drink.

Both DH and I like Extra Bold Dark. Light coffee doesn't taste like coffee to us. We are letting our teen boys have the flavored light coffee that it came with. Actually one says coffee bothers his stomach so really only one has it and not very often.

As a side note, my parents have a Tassimo and the disc exploded with she opened it up. Coffee grounds went all over her and the kitchen. I looked it up online and saw that many have had that problem. It seemed unclear if it was Tassimo's fault or the people who made the discs. Made me glad I went with the Keurig.

I just bought one today!! I also bought the filter so I can use my own favs! My guess is I'd be up to some trading myself.also looking for a good hot chocolate! We tried green mountain this weekend and it was horrible!I'm pretty much a decaf and flavored coffee fan. Any good tips you have let me know!

Just got back braving the snow and ice to buy my Platinum Keurig Coffee Maker. I am in love. It is amazing. Tryed a family members at Christmas and enjoyed it. I am looking forward to trying different flavors to see which one I enjoy the most. My first up was Donut Shop and it was delicious.
