just got a Keurig...we were recently dubbed the Keurig Krew......

I bought ours in mid-December. I am the only one in the family that drinks coffee and I generally have one cup in the morning. So it is perfect for our household.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get the tea pods? The box of samples and that one English tea sample and I would like to get some tea pods. Any ideas?

2) And yet another hot chocolate question. If I want to, say, make a cup of cocoa and then make a cup of coffee, do I have to clean the machine in between the two ?

Thanks.
FYI...if you are using the cocoa pods they do recommend that you run one cup of water only through the machine in between the cocoa and coffee pods.

Coffeewiz.com has them. You can also find them on Amazon.

I found them in Bed, Bath and Beyond last night. They were $9.99 for a box of 18.

I dont know if they had a large selection for the holidays or this is what they normally carry.

If your area is anything like the central Florida area.....you can find 20% off coupons everywhere.

Bonus....I did find Sleepytime Tea at Coffewiz. Christy loves that tea with honey. I just ordered her some to try along with 2 cases of the Donut Shop coffee.

BJ's has one for $139 (I think it is the V70) that comes with 72 Kcups.

That seems like a pretty good deal too.

Sam's Club has that boxed set too and it included some extra water filters.

Just an FYI...Target has the Keurig coffee cup packs on sale for $9.99 this week. I saw it in the flyer this morning.

The biggest problem I've had since buying my Keurig is going overboard buying flavored coffees... I picked up several big variety packs and ordered a few flavors online. Now I realize we don't really *like* flavored coffee much!!!

Our faves are the regular Caribou blend, Newman's Own extra bold, and a couple of the breakfast blends... and I'm running low on all of those.

I've ordered online from Keurig, but I'm going to check out some of the online places mentioned on this thread. I've also picked up boxes of K-Cups at BB&B, JCPenney, and seen them at Kohl's and Target.

It is a very good deal considering this model originally priced at over $200 without kcups.

First there was the Twilight Coven. Then the Kindle Klass.

Now we have the Keurig Krew! :goodvibes

Get your blue glow on!

you can make your own variety pack at bigcatcoffees - only the coffees you like - 5 different varieties in each box of 25.

I'm saving the link to bigcatcoffees for next time I need to order!

If you PM me your email address I can send you a coupon for 10% off your first order. I can only send it to email addresses that are not registered already with bigcatcoffees.

:)

Oh great...my dh has been talking about getting one, now....it all seems so ridiculously easy, may have to get one after all. It does sound like a wonderful thing though. Thanks for the great info and sites.

So how much does the build your own variety pack go for? I dont want to create account until I get the coupon code!

Convinced DH today...went to Sam's and got the Ultimate Brewer with 72 k-kups variety pack to try! So now the problem is deciding which one I like best. DH wants to pick up the my kkup to use our own coffee (see he is not a coffee snob at all....he is fine with his Folgers, he doesnt even get coffee at Starbucks, but green tea/lemonade)!!!!

Thanks for the tips and guidance!

We should start a coffee/tea exchange for those who have varieties that they do not like. Perhaps you could swap for ones you like with another DISer....

The variety pack at bigcats is 14.99 for 25 k-cups. This is more than the regular packs but it is worth it when you are experimenting with the different coffees. They also have one of the biggest selections I have seen online.

I buy mine from Keurig.com. The India Spice Chai is pretty good.

What I like about buying from Keurig is that you can get 5 packs of k-cups and try them out before committing to a whole box.

I think bigcats has the tea. If you want a coupon let me know. I need your email address to send the coupon.
