Just got a great deal on PH

From an ebay member, 2-day park hopper pluses for $138. We bought one now, just mailed the check so we don't have it yet, and we are buying one next month. Saved ourselves $52!! I am so excited.

Sounds like a good deal hopefully they will be just as described. Some have bought park hoppers off e-bay only discover upon arrival at the parks there there are no days on their tickets. The only way to verify if there are days on the ph is at the parks.

I have recently bought tickets off ebay and had no problem using them.
I e-mail the seller and ask for the date and place the tickets were purchased, the name of who purchased them and why they have them to sell.
I also make sure they have been selling on Ebay awhile and have at least 50 positive feedback comments. The last seller even gave us her phone number to call just in case we had any problems. She would have refunded if there was a problem. I would not have purchased it from her had she been any less forthcoming than that. Someone who uses ebay for extra income on a regular basis is not going to want to ruin it all over a fake or used up Disney ticket.

Buyer beware is the name of the game with ebay, but if you use common sense there is a very good chance everything willl be fine.

My Dh sells on ebay a lot, so hew was very weary of buying tickets. We had a man who emailed us and tried to sell us 7 day PH PLUS tix for 2 for $300!!! We saw that he had set up 2 ebay accounts and made a fake transacation between them. We said thanks but no thanks!! Then he said, oh wait that is not my ebay seller name this is xxx. We looked that up and he hadn't ever sold PH and he had several negative feedbacks. Too bad cause it would have been a great deal!!

Sounds like you purchased convention tickets. You should have no problems if the seller has plenty of positive feedback.

If these are convention tickets, will a CM ask which convention they're there for? I read on mousesavers that that has happened at times. Since, technically, the tickets aren't transferrable..what could happen?? I'm just curious in case I decide to try eBay also for tickets. Thanks.

I dont thin you will have any problems. The only times i have hear dof people being asked for convention proof is when they have vouchers they need to exchange for tickets and not the actual ticket.

My brother had that happen (he was there on a convention though) and they did verify the name of the convention he was at before giving him his tickets.

I have a 2 day PHP convention pass i will be using Mar2-5 and Illl et everyone know how it goes.

This is the response I got back from my ebay seller regarding the tix

They are issued in bulk for meetings, reunions, conventions, etc... They do not work any differently.

I ordered a couple 2 day PH from Ebay too! I made sure that the seller had very high positive feedback and feedback from buyers that have used the tickets! I am exicted as I have days left on my Park Hoppers from last year but just needed a couple extra days - I was able to get 2 extra Park hopping days + Disney Quest!
