Just got a flower delivery

I just got a beautiful vase of roses and other assorted flowers sent by my dh . I always tell him not to send me flowers on valentines day because they are so expensive - plus my mother's a florist and I get flowers all the time - but he never listens .. It is so nice to have such a beautiful smell in the house now especially when its such a terrible day outside!

What a thoughtful husband. Be careful about telling him not to send flowers, I told this to my DH one year and he listened and I was very disappointed.

I told my dh not to send me flowers too or if he's bound and determined to get me flowers, stop at a grocery store and pick some up without a vase (I have tons of vases and it much cheaper). But, he used a seldom used credit card and I have an automatic email notice when it does get used, so I'm awaiting my flower delivery today too! He doesn't know I know, but I'm sure I told him I signed up for that email notice!

Getting flowers from my husband was bittersweet. We couldn't have flowers on a table for years, because our cat would hop on up and start chewing! I finally got some wall vases, but it's not the same as having cut flowers in a vase on a table. So, yesterday was the first time in a very long time that he sent roses. (but I still miss my kitty!)

I'm jealous.

I doubt I am getting anything for Valentine's Day this year. DH waits until the last minute every year, and I would be willing to bet no businesses will be open tonight where he can get anything.

I got two flower deliveries today at work. One from my boyfriend of four months and one from a good friend. I was very surprised by both. It is great though because I went years without any flowers and this year I get two!!! The only downside is now at work everyone is teasing me without mercy.

we were just let out of work early due to the sleet and freezing rain. DH left work early today not feeling well, DSs school was cancelled. It was difficult driving home, roads not sanded, etc - couldnt get up the driveway

However once I got in the house there was a dozen pink roses, heart box of candy and 2 Valentines Day cards waiting for me! very very nice - enjoy

I got a dozen roses delivered today, too. Assorted colors--they're beautiful.

I also got The Imagineers Field Guide to the Magic Kingdom and to Epcot, too.

I love Valentine's Day.

I'm so happy to hear you got some beautiful flowers. I had some delivered to me at work yesterday. I'm glad that the florist was on top of things enough to see that they were being delievered to a school and because of the weather they delievered them a day early knowing we most likely would not have school today.
Mine are a 1/2 dozen roses with white lilies. BEAUTIFUL!

He used to stop on the way home and pick flowers and put them in an empty gatorade bottle that he had in his car.

He doesn't get to play hockey anymore, though, so I think he stopped picking flowers b/c he doesn't have gatorade bottles

Yay for DHs!! DH showed up at work at 9 a.m. this morning with a box of chocolates. I hadn't eaten breakfast, so I opened them. Inside was a pink iPod Nano!!! It was so sweet. I've been wanting it forever.

He's getting ... nada. I stuck to the promise! We were just going to put money in our Disney fund...

But my husband just called to ask if I needed anything from Walmart, which is quite strange because he never shops. So apparently I'm getting something from Walmart. Probably a new toaster or something.
