Just got a 40% off code...

Found a code in my email today. NOT the email account that my current ressie for May is under. Wasn't planning on going again for a couple years but i playfully suggested to DH what if I took the kids for couple day in Dec and he said ok still unsure though.....

Just an update...

Called and got quoted $239. for the Poly, garden room, 11 nights, $2962.63 (that includes tax).

I think we're still going to stay at Windsor Hills though.

I waited forever for this dang code, but gave up and booked a townhouse at WH, so now we're not sure what to do!

Talk about frustration! I go to Disney for a day trip every year and an extended 7 -10 day trip about every other year. I've never gotten a discount, code, special email, nothing. My Grand-Father who has gone twice in his entire life and the last time was in 1998 got the Code Postcard today!!

The worst thing is he won't use it and it's non-transferable. My DH says that I should use the Postcard as a pretty bookmark.

Ohh well, now I've at least seen one!

I also received the 40% code (no 20% one, however). I don't know if this means anything or not, but coincidentally, I have received codes two years in a row in the same years that I ordered a new planning video.

So, does this mean anything at all? Probably not - but a coincidence for sure.

I wasn't planning on going this year - trying to take a year off and save some $$, but I'm now probably going to change my mind!

DH got 40% in a postcard yesterday. The funny thing is that all the planning videos, memberships, contest entries and reservations are done by me in my name, and he gets the code. Now I have to put a lot of effort in making sure that he uses it!

I had every intention of waiting for free dining, but now I'm not sure what to do. December is looking good to me now!

We received the 40% postcard in the mail to our address with a different name on it. Strange thing is noone with that name has ever lived in this home. We are the second owners. I am assuming we can't use this as the name on the card is different than our name?
We weren't planning on this year, but for Jan 2009.
I have heard they limit one per household, how do they track this- by name or address?

I had a 40% off code with my father's name on it addressed to my house. (My Dad lives in another city). I called Disney and asked if I could use it and they said the code was attached to the "household" and I could use it. I booked Wilderness Lodge today. Call and ask....it's worth a try!

wow - we never get any codes - just get multipule of the same email every other week - drives me nuts.

I don't know about using someone else's code, mine was in my maiden name and they questioned it quite a bit.
