Just Got A 40% Off Code

Ok so last night I called CM to check something on my reservation and asked it there was a PIN attached to my name and he said if there was it would have shown up online when I booked. Never hurts to ask!?!?!:confused3

Anyone in LA?

I already booked last week with my AAA discount. If there was a code attached to my name, do you think the CM would have told me without me having to ask?

For those of you that received the 40% off offer. What did your email message say in the subject line and who was it from????

thank you for your help:flower3:

i just signed up for the Disney Visa today and the lady I spoke with said she didn't know about the offer and that she had only limited info.

Still wondering about my question above ~ if any of you have received that awesome 40% off code~and are reading this ~please help us~

I also wanted to let anyone know who doesn't already have a Disney Visa and would like to sign up for one that I found an offer to get a $50 disney gift card after your first purchase with your new card. The phone # is 1-877-269-3615 or go to DisneyWorld50gift.com and mention key code: 6G4J01. I was told that it takes about 6 weeks to get the gift card after your first purchase and that you can use it at the parks and the hotels as well as the Disney store.

I got that Disney Destinations email and called last night and got WL for $151 a night (including tax). We got 4 nights in December!!! Can't wait!!!:cool1:

Disney Destinations Limited Time! Amazing Disney Resort offer! Tue Jan 08, 2008 16k

I haven't decided if I want to book yet or not. I really was thinking of going near Christmas, but DD18 will be freshman in college (I believe her break begins Dec 13). And I have one more week of school after that (I work in a middle school). My school is really picky about not being at school the day before a break. (And I can't go to WDW for anything less than a week;) ) And after reading this thread I'm not sure if I can use the code as the email was technically sent to my FIL. I signed him up on my email when they did the sweepstakes during the year of a million dreams and I registered him with one of my email accts. He and MIL have come with us once (last year) to WDW. So if you're looking for a reason for the email--those are the only things I can think of. Also, the email said that the offer was for "moderate resorts".

OK, I'll add to the confusion even more.

We got a card for this code delivered to our address, but our friends name.

We traveled to WDW with this friend and her family in 2004, but we stayed off site and got tickets through AAA. She and her family traveld back to WDW in 2006, but stayed off site again.

We were back in 2005 and twice in 2007. When I called about this code, there was nothing in my name, DW's name or any of our kids names. I told them that they had the correct address, just the wrong name I was told that -sorry, no the code is connected to the name, not the address.

We're heading back in 2008, and would love to be able to apply this code.

Thanks for the info. So far I don't see anything in my email :headache:

Wow you would think you could use it if it was mailed to your address!!! I can't believe they would give you the discount!

Correct. Because of these post of folks calling I decided to call today just to get a quote. After the CM was done with his quote I asked him if there were any additional discounts associated with my name or someone in my party. Right away he said yes and quoted me an amount. I asked if it was 30% (I did the math while we were talking) and he said yes. So I mentioned the 40% code that I had heard about and he said let me check and he said that too was available for my reservation and quoted me $49 a night for Pop (weekends too), so I booked 2 rooms for Aug. 10-17. I did have a wonderful CM who spent tons of time with me looking at Pop and checking the A/S Music Suite -- which was not part of this promotion.

I haven't gotten a postcard OR an e-mail and I called AGAIN today and there is no discount of any sort on my profile. So frustrating!

Maybe I should call and cancel all 16 nights of my 3 existing ressies and see if that spurs them into action!:rotfl2:

OK, for those of you who got the email, When do you have to book by?

Did the top of your email have this:
send to a friend | click to view in browser?

i receive emails from disney destinations (but not the 40%off one) and it has that at the top.

I just got off the phone and directly asked if there were any discount codes attached to my name (none). But he did verify all of my data - name, address, phone number and email addy. He also asked if I had gotten a postcard with a pin so he knew what he was looking for.

Sadly, nothing.

Anyone from Texas yet with a postcard/email. I'm still holding out hope since it seems that this started in FL and is moving westward:)

We live up here in North Texas and we got the post card but it didnt work at the resorts we were picking but we did get a great deal on SSR so we are staying there in 2 1/2 weeks : ) love AA FF miles we are flying for free to .

I'm up in the panhandle of TX and I just got my postcard from my mailbox! :cool1: Now to see if I can talk dh into a christmas trip this year too! LOL

just called and asked about the 40% off and was told of course that this offer was only for specially selected people and I am not one of those.:headache:

I hope so too!

For those who got the pc-did it have Thumper and Bambi on it? I got something like this a while back but threw it out. now I'm learning we are going in September. Does anyone know about the bambi pc offer? Thanks!:woohoo:

I got this email (40%) off on Tuesday and booked within 45 minutes of getting it. I got FW Cabin with DDP and one day base tickets (we have 6 day hoppers left from our last trip- we had to leave after 17hrs because my FIL died) for 3 adults (me, DH, MIL) and 2 kiddos Dec.13-21 (8 nights) for $3513. This is about $550 less than what the website quoted me. The discount does NOT apply to DDP and tickets (at least not the one I got!), but we think it is a GREAT deal. The special is supposed to end on Dec. 17, but the CM was able to get all 8 days on the special, she said it typically doesn't allow that, but did this time- she was happy too that she didn't have to make 2 separate reservations!

The CM did say at one point that there are several different pins out there for different things. This is the second email pin I've gotten, but the first I've been able to use. YIPEE!!
