Just got 129 APH for RPH.....

I still can't believe it. I was happy when the APH rate dropped to 179 for our stay in August. When I checked the Loews site today, 159 came up for our dates. I called to have our reservation adjusted and the very nice young lady told me to hold on for a moment. I started to get a little nervous when she came back and said she could only give me the 159 rate for our last 2 days. Then she explained that the rate for our first 4 days would be.........129 a night.


A special thank you to everyone who suggested buying a AP and checking the rates often.

Great rate! I was able to get portofino for $159 a night with APH discount. Rate goes up to $189 for my last night - a Friday.

Have a wonderful time! We were at the RP last time we were there and loved it. I gotta try all 3 resorts..lol

Thanks Mary. Only 43 more days until we check in. This is our first time to Universal and we are really looking forward to it.

Are you going soon & when did you call. I called last week and the only hotel that had a room was portofino. I got a AAA rate of $263 a nite for a deluxe 2 queens. We will be there on the 30th.

I made my ressie on Wednesday, June 21st. I've been checking on and off for a few months and this is the cheapest I've found them. We arrive August 16th and check out the 19th. We don't have a deluxe room we got the Garden View room.

Oh, and we're using the APH discount.

When I secured the lower rate, the young lady was quick to point out I would not receive my Loews Welcome Gift. Lets see....Milk and Cookies....or Saving lots of money

Grest rate ! I ve decided, unless my rate drops for beginning of October I am booking a villa. I have $247 AAA at the minute PBH but would gladly stay at RPH for a rate similar to $129.
