Just getting back from WL CL

I was at the WL CL this past weekend Aug 10-13th. Let me know if you have any questions. We loved the floor and the staff was very helpful while we were there. It was a relaxing trip for us so we hadn't made any reservations or anything before hand so I'm not sure about that feature.

I did write down the evening food everyday since most people always want to know that. LOL

Everynight they had veggies and dip (the dip was blue cheese but they went and got me multiple ranch packages while I was there) and also a cheese tray and some Roasted Red Pepper Dip with Bread. The dip was delicious.

Friday: Tomato Basil Soup and chili
Saturday: New England Clam Chowder and Sausage & Peppers over Pasta
Sunday: Tomato Basil Soup and Pork Tenderloin with Mac-n-cheese

We also enjoyed the desserts which always had sugar cookies, choc chip cookies, magic cookie bars and brownies. Then the hot choices were Applu Cobbler on Friday and Sunday and a Berry Cobbler on Saturday.

The food was good but nothing overly exciting. We've stayed at the Poly CL before and enjoyed the selections there better. We did however enjoy this resort overall better.

We have stayed at WL three times now, but in March it will be our first time doing CL because we have booked a junior suite.

Is there soda available in the lounge?
What kind of items do they have breakfast time?

Not the OP but I will answer your question if you don't mind.

There is soda available during the day. They have coke, diet coke and sprite. There is also lemonade, tea and water available. In the a.m. they also have milk, choc milk, cranberry juice and o.j.

Breakfast offerings are usually assorted danish, assorted muffins, assorted bagels, assorted cereals. There is usually a big bowl with fresh fruit, usually strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew and watermelon.

Usually in the fridge there is apples, oranges, banannas and yogurt.

There is a toaster for the bagels. There is also butter, peanut butter, jellies, honey and cream cheese.

There is also a coffee/cafe machine with all sorts of offerings including hot chocolate for the kids, adult kids included too.

Only a couple differences when I was just there. They had apple juice boxes in the fridge with the sodas. In the evenings they had beer in there too. However if you want something when its not out drink wise we just asked and they went and got it.

For breakfast they actually had 4 different bowls with fruit in them. It varied by day and I didn't write it down but I know they had grapes, strawberries, honeydew, cantelope, grapefruit, and watermelon at different times.

I'm trying to remeber the cereals but I'm pretty sure they had cheerios, raisin bran, frosted flakes and fruit loops.
