Just found out I'm visiting during Pop Warner week

Holy cow....I've ready many things about this over the years. Not all good. I managed to get an extra day off to make a long weekend possible to see the Osborne lights (never done it but always wanted to). So prepare me for the PW chaos. We are staying at POP Century....I sort of think they don't stay there but not sure.

DH is gonna kill me if we have to deal with a million rowdy kids.

Last year the official hotels were All Star, CBR, CSR. I don't think there has been information released for this year.

It's really a non-issue. I've been lucky when at a PW resort. The kids were fairly well behaved. I find cheerleaders to be the most bothersome...but that's only because they tend to be loud and overly peppy!!!
The parks aren't too bad at this time. But, there is a presence in the parks...especially as the week goes by. The kids are in competitions during the day...as the competitions end, the kids then hit the parks. So, the groups that didn't do well in competition, tend to hit the parks earlier in the week. By Thursday, more kids/families are obvious in the parks.

We are there from Saturday until Tuesday so hopefully we won't have many encounters. In the parks we don't really care but I would prefer not to stay in the same resort. I'm a magnet for noisy hotel neighbours. I've been at the All Stars when cheerleaders where there and I found the kids to be more or less OK but the adults were terrible.
