Just found out Harry Potter cost us another $160!!

Well, not the movie itself. But while we were parked we got a flat tire. DH took it to be repaired today and found out it was knifed in the side!! So we have to order a new one.
I don't know why we would be targeted. We were in DH's 2002 Avalanche. Changing it after the movie in the snow was a lot of fun too. The only things I can think of are 1) either someone doesn't like avalanches , or 2) it is related to DH's remodeling business name on the side of the truck. Or of course it could just be random vandalism.
The manager of the theatre was very nice when I told her about it and even told me that they have cameras and perhaps we could look at them. I don't think the security is very good otherwise, while we sat for 45 minutes working on the tire, with the dome light on and 3 kids in the back, the security guard drove by 5 times without ever stopping. I guess he didn't want to help change a tire in the snow either!

Sorry you had to have your night end like that. I wish that the security would have stopped and at least checked on you all. I guess he thought if he stopped it would take away from watching the rest of the parking lot.

You might want to check with the police and see if your area is having a problem with the group E.L.F.

There has been a huge problem in the Richmond area with them vandalising SUVs and businesses

Thanks guys. Later DH is going to the theatre to see if he can see the film. We tried to call yesterday but in the afternoon all they run is the movie times--and Harry Potter alone is on seven screens!
I DID really enjoy the movie. I wonder if it was that ELF group. An avalanche isn't really an SUV, it's the truck that changes on TV--you know the commercial where the guy says "change for a dollar" and the guy goes to the truck and opens up the back seat so it's more of a pickup. It's DH's work truck. I guess if we had taken my van we would have been OK, but as usual it is a mess.
