Many have claimed that it is easy to get into Vero. Here is my experience. I called member services wondering about availability for May 12-15. I cannot get into a 2 bedroom at all and can get a one bedroom for only two of the nights. I was hoping to be able to stay there for a relaxing weekend but with the resort being so small, I doubt the availability would change.

That is why it is a good idea to buy where you plan to stay most. It is also a good idea to make use of the seven month window by calling right at seven months.

Just another example of why the eleven month window and planning ahead are so important in DVC.

Keep in mind that the weekend you are looking at is Mother's Day weekend. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

I have noticed that holidays make a big difference. Weekends that contain a holiday or have one tacked on to create a long weekend typically are more busy, at least on property they are.

March, April and May are the peak times for Vero. When we were there 2 years ago that's what we were told.

Ms was fine. I had explained that I was getting all these points in a resale and that I had by Aug. to use them. I told them that I had to try and make some tenitive plans and could they help me. I tried to make it very short and sweet but now that I know my options, I won't bother them until I become a member. Kem330 I am about a week behind you so let me know where you are in the process.
