Discovery Island is an Island in Bay Lake, on which there used to be birds and small animals before animal kingdom opened. It closed as an attraction in 2000 and has been used as a pirate activity destination. It was very peaceful there and had a quiet beach on which one could sit.

I regret the loss of DI, River Country, and the old nature trail in that area. Guess they weren't thrilling enough for the younger people.

OK I just finished this project (what I had to get from Wal-mart was more of this frabic spray paint - I'm not doing this again, too much money for it)

OK the paint might have been expensive -- but worth it! Those are really cool.

I assume it was several cans of paint. You can't get that effect from one can, can you?

it was 2 sets from WallyWorld - so there is 3 cans in the set - Black, Red & Golden (I thought that was perfect for Mickey)
I'm wondering how stiff they will be - I can't wash them for 72 hours
I still want to add some glow-in-the dark paint around they boys names (maybe a Mickey head on the front of theirs just in case they get away from us in the dark)
