Just for fun... How much would you pay for Fastpass?

As titled, how much would you fork out for FP? I just don't believe that FP would return without a price tag.

In 2017, when we went to Universal Orlando, we stayed at Portofino Bay and received complimentary unlimited express. It made the visit so much fun and easier!! I don't know if people really would pay $99 per person per day for the unlimited pass. That's $400 for a family of 4 per day and would be equal to one night of hotel stay at Portofino Bay.

in 2018, my family paid for the Club Level FP which came with 6 FP per day, bookable 90 days in advance, and a reserved viewing spot for the nighttime spectacular (MK fireworks, Epcot Illumination, HS Fantasmic and AK River of Light). Minimum 3 days of purchases. The cost was $50 per person per day. The price was a bit steep but the experience was awesome. We got to ride the newest rides at the time which were Flight of Passage, Navi's river and SDD. The reserved viewing spot at MK was fantastic! My kids still talked about it nowadays. We also got a spot a Fantasmic. Over at HS, the reserved viewing spot was not as well organized as the one at MK but we got it and enjoyed the show. At both events, we arrived 15 minutes prior to the starting time of the show.

I would probably spend $50 again but only if reserved viewing spot for nighttime spectacular is included and that the passes are valid for the new rides like ROTR, Runaway Train, Trons and Ratatouilles, etc . If not, Disney should do what Universal Orlando does which is to offer complimentary passes to guests staying at Deluxe resort and DVC members.

Zero. The only reason why we "paid" for it in Disneyland was to get the photo pass photos.

Last time we were at Disneyland they included several "anytime" fast passes at no additional cost.

I would hope that if they do start charging it would be free to WDW Resort guests as they have taken and continue to take so much from those that stay onsite. Make it a perk for staying onsite.

No clue. They were just in our packet when we arrived at the hotel. Got one each at WDW from a worker who we stopped to ask a question. It wasn't the usual fast pass. The worker had like a receipt book and gave us one. THAT was pixie dust.

really would depend on the amount of days we are going for and if I'm going with AP or tickets. If on AP $0, if tickets it really would depend but no more than $25 per person per trip. If they start charging hoping they include it for DVC stays

We done a few VIP tour for a day when visiting during peak seasons, so I guess a lot. Price varies depending on what time of the year your booking.

We were at Shanghai Disney a few years back and they had traditional paper FP system. But the FP for the big rides ran out quick each day. They had a paid system for their top rides at around $20/person for 1 FP. We would have done it to ride the unique to Shanghai rides like their version of Pirates or Tron. But we didn't have to resort to paying as we were able to do standby in very short lines multiple times each day. Something like that could play out interesting in the states.

But back to original question, as much as it'd suck we'd probably pay $100/person for unlimited FP to everything for per day. We usually go down for a week with 6 days in the parks. It's DH & I so an extra $1200. I think it'd need to be priced high enough not everyone would do it so there's the benefit to having it. When we go on vacation we want our time to be enjoyable and if that means paying to not stand in long lines and knowing we could go into Studios and do Toy Storyland rides, Galaxy Edge rides, etc without having to worry about getting boarding queue for ROR or door busting Slinky Dog Dash, it'd be worth it to us.

Maxpass at DL is currently $20 a day(assuming they were open of course). I think thats a fair price to pay into the system as it is. If MP does return to DL I would expect a slight price increase maybe to $25 or $30.

$20 for 1 ride for 1 person, and no designated return time, just whenever you wanted to enter FP line.

How Fastpass+ returns is totally dependent in my opinion on how much demand there is for on-property resorts post-Covid. If they immediately return to pre-Covid levels with no extra incentives, they will bring it back for a fee. If demand is behind, they'll return it in a similar form to previously.

I just looked it up on the Shanghai Disneyland website.
There is no more free FP. Occasionally they would offer Standby Pass in the afternoon.
"Premier Access Pass" as an upgrade to the park ticket is available for purchase .
Accordingly to a blog from July 2020, it's 750 CNY for 12 rides, that's $115, per person.....

Do you get to visit WDW frequently? My family don't. We can only go once every other year in the summer.
